Ramen Underground - San Francisco - Photo album

It was positively delicious. I just discovered ramen right before this trip (yeah I live in under a rock) so while I only have one other place to compare to, it was really tasty! The dinner was reasonably priced but I was a little shocked by the $32 pitcher of beer. It was a great experience thoug
This is your go to consistent basic ramen shop. The bowls are decently put together and the ingredients harmonize to creat balanced flavor throughout. I've had the tan tan (sesame seed broth) the Miso Shoyu and the Tonkatsu here and all were good not great but would eat here again and again and be s
Ordered the Pork based Ramen. It was absolutely amazing and everything I could ever imagine a quality bowl of Ramen tasting like. Definitely recommend this place for travelers wanting to try some Ramen in SF area.
This is my absolute favorite ramen restaurant in the city. This place has a lot of charm, and amazing food. The noodles are thicker, chewier, and fresher than almost every place I’ve been to, and the broth and toppings are excellent. If you are a fan of spicy food (which I am), make sure to order th
Very filling, and they were able to graciously accommodate our party of nine (in a fairly small restaurant too). Overall I think the ramen was alright (I got the spicy miso), and the service was good. The orders came out in a timely manner.
Ramen Underground is always crowded with people during lunch and dinner especially during fall and winter time. The one distinction is that it uses chicken broth instead of pork broth. The restaurant is small so you do expect a bit of wait unless you come at odd hours or order takeout. I actually r
This place is amazing. I recommend the spicy miso soup and chicken gyoza. We ordered takeout, but then sat at an outdoor table right outside the restaurant. They immediately brought waters and place settings. Delicious food and great service. Highly recommend!
Get the Spicy Miso Ramen. The base ramen comes with your choice of meat Toppings are $1 each and include mushrooms, spinach, tofu and more. I ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen with Chicken and added spinach and tofu. I also ordered the chicken gyoza and they were great, too.
One of my favorite ramen place in the city. Rich delicious broth, fresh egg noodles with perfectly cooked pork belly! Worth the wait!
Good ramen place for the money you spend , the tonkatsu broth was vary good same for the noodles , the barbecue pork was cooked perfectly. The restaurant is not too big and often packed during dinner hours
Absolutely money's worth!! 👍🏻 The menu is well crafted with good range of choices for all. Some waiting time is expected during the peak hours. Cosy but functional ambitious. The staff is warm and receptive! Highly recommended!! 👌🏻
Good ramen experience. Quick service. Not busy on Friday night when I visited around 7:30pm (mostly empty seats). i got miso ramen last time but would try soyu ramen next. My friend got the soyu ramen and said it was really good.
the noodle is good but i have tried better ramen. it can be better. the place is small. the table is so close to each other. i can hear the next table conversation. but overall it is a good place to eat noodle.
Ramen Underground Tokotsu broth ramen with boiled egg. Broth was delicious - unexpectedly there was grated pickled ginger in the toppings (not listed on menu). Not a pickled ginger fan so now I know to exclude that for next time. Easy walk from our office on Market st.
Delicious! Felt very authentic. Staff was friendly and helpful. Plus it was a great value considering it was in the heart of the Financial District. Fast service and great people watching if you sit at the window.
