Found this place on foursquare, while I was sitting inside In-N-Out, finding a veggie patty-based burger. And I must say I was not disappointed. Amazing veggie patty and all of the toppings we ordered were equally amazing, so were their House and Chili sauces. In addition, my meat eating wife also loved their veggie burger!
Garlic fries are a must try.
Meyer lemon and passion fruit sodas were refreshing for a hot and sunny day.
Really friendly staff and patiently gave us their recommendations.
Definitely one of my top 3 burger places in town.
One of the best burgers I’ve ever had! I got the summer burger with pesto which was a brilliant addition to an already delicious burger. It’s pretty pricey, but worth it. We also got the “Frifecta” which is regular fries, sweet potato fries, and zucchini and onion haystacks (which were my personal favorite) if you like a tiny bit of spice and sweetness, add the chipotle maple seasoning to the fries. The only thing we weren’t a big fan of was the chicken tenders which were very hard to eat because the breading was very hard. Everything was out quickly, and service was excellent. We felt very welcome and our server was friendly as well. Highly recommended!

Fries were fresh and crispy. The smoked bacon was perfect, not overpowering the burger with its flavor but still very tasty and it goes along very well with the aioli. Had the bison meat medium rare, I must say, it has become one of my favorite burgers, easy top 5. Went at 3 pm so it was a little bit empty, not sure how it's going to be at peak lunch time.
Best bacon cheeseburger I ve had in San Francisco. Very tasty and well cooked. Great service as well.

To avoid the lunch crowd I walked in at 1130am and placed my order. Ordered the French Fries burger the chalet burger combo russet sweet potato fries and zucchini haystack and strawberry milkshake. Will return to try other items.
Somebody told me that here they had the best milkshakes I'm in San Francisco but they don't :/ they are just regular shakes. The hamburgers were delicious
though. But the sweet potato was for me the best of all. Really good service and is super fast.
Prepare yourself for a serious food coma after dining here! Although the menu may seem a bit pricey (we spent $50+ for two burgers and fries), the portions are generous and you will leave feeling completely satisfied. Roam offers a unique experience as it is the first burger joint my husband and I have visited that offers vegan cheese options. This was especially exciting for us since my husband recently discovered he could no longer eat dairy and thought he would never be able to enjoy cheeseburgers again. Initially, we were skeptical, but after selecting the vegan cheddar and whole wheat bread, he was pleasantly surprised by how much he enjoyed the taste of his burger. I opted for the fried chicken sandwich which was served with marinara sauce and reminded me of a chicken parmesan. If you're someone who loves customizing their burger and enjoys a lot of options, Roam is definitely worth checking out!
I was on Union Street because I had just dropped off a new Synchronized Skidwheeler to my old pal His Majesty Fernando Escondabble the ruler of Union Square...as he likes to be called, but I just call him Frank. He said he'd buy me lunch at Roam Artisan Burgers for bringing him the Skidwheeler all the way from Hoboken's Pig Farm in Cloverdale, and man, I was all in! No one packs a burger better than Roam Artisan Burgers, they're the best in the city! 5 Stars all the way! ☆☆☆☆☆
A large variety of burgers is nice. I enjoy that they have options for all different kinds of taste, and I really enjoy the bison burger. The fries are bought separately, no combo happy meal here.
