Don Lucio's Taco Shop Ii

Came down to SD for the weekend and Don Lucio's Taco Shop was just down the street from the hotel we were staying at, so we decided to make a stop real quick. The menu to this place is pretty big. It kinda took us a while to decide what we wanted to get lol. The gentleman making the food was very patient and told us to call him when we where ready to order. Once we ordered he'll ask you to please wait outside until your order is ready, then he'll call you back in to pick it up. We decided on a Carne Asada Fries, Chimichanga, and a Big Plate Order which has two taquitos a tostada and a beef taco. Portions are pretty big, I have to say we didn't make a dent on these plates lol. The Asada was pretty good, it wasn't dry and he wasn't stingy with the meat on the fries or on the chimichanga. Oh man, what was great is that they pickle their own jalapeños here! The onions, the carrots everything tasted delicious! We had so much food left over in the morning lol, a good thing the hotel only gave us water for breakfast lol.

This is my favorite place to get carneSada fries because I love the thick fries I hope they keep it forever. The meat always has so much flavor and I love that they put pico on it as well they have one of the best salsa that packs heat!! It’s so spicy but it’s so good one of my favorite places to get Mexican food in San Diego hands-down
