Los Panchos has been a staple of my post-clubbing/late night dining experience since 2008. I am so glad that they were able to secure this new and improved location. First of all, this is by far the best Mexican food you will find in the area. The food is always fresh. The servers and staff are beyond professional and they always make you feel like you are a regular. There are so many choices when it comes to Mexican food but there are only a handful of excellent choices. Los Panchos is one of the best. They have your standard San Diego-Mexican style coupled with real actual Mexican food so there is something for everybody. The prices are reasonable and now that they have a legit dining/restaurant experience I am excited to make this a hangout/happy hour spot in the future. Please, do yourself a favor and try Los Panchos - Hillcrest.

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Hillcrest. They have really awesome service and the aesthetic of the dining area is phenomenal. Also the food is really high-quality, very tasty. I ended up getting the potato tacos they were really delicious!

Hubby was very happy, I ordered what I thought was a vegetarian friendly burrito, found a piece of bacon. Let staff know upfront, not sure if they prep tortillas and beans with pork lard. Otherwise, salsas were bomb

Had so much fun at the Halloween party! All their food is always great!! The Shrimp Burrito, Caldo de Res and 3 Soft tacos are my favorites!! For me this is "Soul Food"! 🌮🫔🌯🦐🍲
