Mcdonald's

There is not much that sets one McDonalds apart from another except time and whether the food is hot. At this McDonald's I stopped coming because the drive-up window service is painfully slow. I had ordered food from this location when I lived in the area about 8 years ago. Drive-up service was slow then and it has only gotten worse now. I do not blame the workers initially, I blame management or the design of the workflow layout. As a Quality Assurance Engineer my recommendation is collect and review metrics, map the process/find the waste, ask the 5 Why's, assess the organization of people, develop corrective actions, implement them purposefully. The first one would be a visual for the operators to see how long an order has been waiting for fulfilment and hold people accountable to the reasonable standard set by management. I'll be back in 4 months to let everyone know if there is any progress at the drive-up window. Set your calendar, I will.

They continue to mess up orders in the drive thru. They don’t know how to use the loyalty app because every time I want to redeem points or use a coupon code they are all lost and don’t admit fault. It seems as though they don’t know how to use the register system at all. Also they are very rude and rush customers. This a mainly on the management as they were the ones to take my order the past couple times with us leaving disappointed and disrespected.

This is not a safe place for your kids!! This place needs locks on the bathroom doors, and a police officer to frequent the area. I literally watched some dope heads fighting over a bike in the middle of the lot, and a kid in the bushes with his pants down shooting up his leg. The outdoor eating area is a sleep camp for these guys. This all can be fixed if you care. This is unacceptable and is the worst restaurant in southern California hands down.

I've not always been a big fan of McDonald's, but seeing how they allow the homeless people to congregate there I'm actually a bigger fan of them now. We are in the middle of the pandemic and homeless people need a place to eat and relax as well. Much respect to McDonald's for helping the homeless you've earned yourself a new regular customer.
