On a slow weekend this place was pretty busy. They had the usual pub brews. The staff was nice even if they were a little slow to pick up on new people sitting down. Still it was a nice quaint pub. I'd like to try the food next time. I saw other people eating and it looked good.
Pretty disappointed, came here for fish and chips and a shepherd pie. After we were one drink in they told us the sheaperds pie was out. First Irish Dive I ever took in San Diego. Not some place I'd go for a fancy date, but the beer is cold and the liquor flows. Walking distance from most things you'd need in Gas Lamp.

Not 100% Irish pub but the atmosphere is awesome. The bar tender knew his black and tans. Pictured is a black velvet which is cider and Guinness. Different but totally worth a try!
