First 202O review! First restaurant we dined in during social distancing and covid health code style (not sure if that’s what they actually call it). Out of all the restaurant that opened again we picked Quality Taste Pot and it’s all because of their very delicious, addicting, so crispy, and the best “Salt and Pepper wings!” We come mostly on Wednesday cause it’s 50% off wings and we always order their number 1 house special pot. I agree when then say it’s all about “quality” not quantity.
Have you tried mixing the seasoning from the salt pepper wings with rice? It’s like the best fried rice ever.

We ordered a chicken dry pot and requested that they swap out the chicken breast for chicken wings. To our surprise they used fried chicken, and it was sooo good!! We also ordered some fried chicken (none-spicy), which my son really enjoyed.
Their drinks were a bit disappointing, as the strawberry smoothie tasted pretty bland--more like a strawberry slush.
Customer service was decent, we were seated right when we got in, and after ordering the food came out pretty quickly. We'll definitely be coming back!

Outstanding find for authentic Chinese food. Pork belly dry pot was so good! Two dinners, two appetizers, and soft drinks... Under $50. Service was also great. I will be back.

Salt &Pepper wings are fantastic. Tofu with veggies were great and fried shrimp and Walnuts were good, but order Mayo on the side.

Great, fun food with a fantastic staff who are willing to guide and explain for newcomers to this style of hot pot meals. It's not just hot pot, though: they make excellent chicken wings and a variety of Asian barbecue dishes which can be an entire entree or a side dish. Be careful, though: it all adds up!

My fiancé thought this place was good but personal it was only ok for me. I got their hot pot and it contained a lot of things I didn’t like eating. Perhaps that’s my fault for getting the one with a lot of pork belly because the pot contained a lot of fat. The waiters were friendly even though their clearly high school students who are just trying to make some extra money. Nothing wrong with this but it just lacks a little bit of professionalism.

While QT Pot offers generous portions, the lack of flavor coupled with the price makes the meal harder to swallow. However, my order from Uber Eats arrived pretty timely, and the food didn't feel oily or overly greasy. A good place to go if you need to grab a quick bite, but other options may be available for Chinese elsewhere in San Diego.
