Earl Of Sandwich

I came in at 1:20pm on January 9, 2022. I was told I can’t dine in. I asked why because they close at 3:00pm. The Manager said because they have to start cleaning.😂 With the explanation of by 2:30pm the dining area should be cleaned and at 2:30pm they will start cleaning the kitchen so at 3:00pm they are closed and everything is done- ( So they can leave too? What a joke! 😂) I was like, woooh! This is not right, I’m the only customer and during the pandemic I think it’s a good idea that they have more customers coming in. I’m not sure the owner will appreciate how you are running the business I said, let me talk to your boss and the manager gave me the phone number of the shop so when I called I found out she lied to me and said she can’t give her boss phone number. I was like, I have a legitimate reason because I wanted to explain on the spot what is going on and how the employees are turning customers away. I was threatened that she would give my payment back and not make my order if I would insist to talk to the owner. Wow! So I did not have the phone number of the owner. The Manager’s name is Delia. She is not doing what is best for the business. It is so sad!

Favorite sandwich is honestly The Full Montagu! Not many sandwich shops have bread that is soft even after it's toasted. The dining area and bathroom are always clean. The desserts and chips are good too. Workers are very friendly! I recommend this place all the time to friends and family for a quick bite to eat.

Pink goo made to resemble meat. As far as mystery “meat” goes it’s pretty typical, not unlike Subway, but honestly I couldn’t tell if it was supposed to be turkey, ham, roast beef, or what. It kinda tasted like tuna actually, but I know it wasn’t supposed to be that. There is a Chipotle not to far away if you don’t like these glued together remnants off the factory floor.

Nice addition to the neighborhood! Just opened! (The old CroceVia coffee place across from Ralph’s downtown location). Super neat and clean. They offer made-to-order hot sandwiches, wraps and fresh salads. Generous portions. Friendly staff. Some UK faves including Miss Vickie’s crisps (chips). Reasonable prices - between $6-10 for most orders. Also have daily soups and some gluten-free options. Order at the counter and they prepare food for you. Inside and sidewalk seating. They also do catering and takeaway orders.
