I work nearby and ordered my food online 45 min before pick-up. I'm usually in a hurry, and this place take forever to prepare orders—even though is almost always empty—The cashiers/servers are usually grumpy, have no manners and no concept of great customer service. But, today they crossed the line from rude to AGGRESSIVE. I had the unfortunate experience of bringing my co-workers to this place, and since our orders were to go, the gentleman who helped pass the orders got upset when my co-worker asked if she could have a side of sriracha. He raised his voice to three paying customers in a most disrespectful manner. The man's veins were bursting all over his face. It is unacceptable to treat someone in this way, let alone while running a business. We were at the door of the establishment and he was yelling at us about a policy, I personally was taken aback by this unreasonable treatment. He demonstrated to have some deep rooted anger issues. I am only 5 feet tall and I am not threatening in any way shape or form. I showed up ready to eat, but this non-so-gentleman lost his temper over 1-2 ounces of sriracha and made me lose my appetite.

There's probably a reason this place was completely empty on a Friday night. I can't comment on their sushi, because I didn't (intentionally) order any, but these people serve salmon sashimi on rice and call it donburi. Didn't notice til I got all the way home, and when I went back these people looked at me like I was crazy and basically told me to get lost. Hopefully when they go out of business (which will obviously be soon) we'll get a decent restaurant in this neighborhood.

I have been coming to this restaurant for over 3 years and I am always very happy with the food and the service. The prices are great, and the sushi is always fresh. I did have an issue once with an order not allowing for a substitution on grubhub, however, I called the restaurant directly and asked them about it. They were happy to make the change to my order, and even refunded me a portion of the bill since it made the Poki cheaper. I have found that some of the online order services won't allow for alterations on the food, but the staff are always accommodating if you simply ask them. I highly recommend this place, and I am so happy they have survived the COVID shut-down.
