Best burritos and birria pizza is so tasty! Great food, friendly service. The bathrooms could be cleaner. This place gets a lot of traffic late nights but the line is fast moving and worth it.

I enjoyed my experience with the staff assistance with the drinks. The food was excellent with a little kick, which was great! I will stop by again when I visit San Diego.

La Fuente is a terrific place to stop by for late night Mexican food if you get the munchies after dancing or having some other type of fun earlier in the evening. We walked in and were greeted by a worker who didn’t welcome us or say anything. He just walked to the register and waited for us to order. Not the friendliest by any means but maybe he was having a bad night. The place has plenty of seating, both inside and outside and it’s brightly lit. There is a salsa bar to meet any sauce requirements you may have. We ordered the carne asada quesadilla and the fish tacos and the cashier handed us a receipt with our number (without a thank you or any sort of acknowledgement). They have a machine that calls out the numbers for them as food becomes ready for pickup. We grabbed our selection of salsas and sat down. A short while later our number was called and we grabbed our food. The carne asada quesadilla comes with cheese and pico de gallo inside. I was surprised by the pico but it was tasty enough. That being said, I think it contributed to the tortilla getting soft too fast though so if I were to order again I might ask for it on the side. My partner had the fish tacos and said they were huge and tasty. All three salsas I tasted were delicious but I liked the red salsa the best over the green and the hot orange one. The orange was supposed to be the hottest but still wasn’t crazy hot like I’m used to. Overall the food is great late night fare and maybe the cashier was just not having his best night. Hopefully they will be friendlier next time. La Fuente also has a drive through available and a few parking spots on the side if you’re lucky enough to nab one.

Perfect place for the drinking munchies. Staff was very friendly and did not get overwhelmed when they got a rush. Food was great, served hot and pretty good portions. We got the Carne asada fries and were able to eat our fill and still have leftovers for the next day.

Delicious exquisite Tijuana street style tacos and food in the middle of Hillcrest. The perfect place for a late night snack. Nadia the cashie and hostess is super attentive and charismatic. David in the kitchen has the “sazon” you will be happy to have made it here after la fiesta. And the churros, the best in the northwest.

This spot! This here spot is fantastic. The menu is diverse, including all the Mexican fare you want. The prime location is easy to reach by foot or car. It is a very popular venue for late evening, after party eating or breakfast. I ordered tacos and the turf & surf fries. I think they used two potatoes worth of fries; massive portions. 100% delicious. Get the sauces laid out on the self-serve condiments bar, you will thank me.

The surf and turf fries are insanely good with everything made fresh to order right from the grill. And the amount of food you get is just plain good economics. Haven’t had a bad experience the multiple times I’ve visited. Check this place out while in town!
