Went there for the first time and was ABSOLUTELY BLOW AWAY, ordered a California burrito was a mouth full of flavor and deliciousness, this place is a hidden gem 🤤 would ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

Greeted with a big smile and “Can I help you?” I ordered the breakfast burrito, which includes, eggs, bacon, cheese, potatoes and refried beans. It was good.

I recommend this place if you love tacos. Expect big tacos. I am a big guy and i could barely finish 3 tacos. The carnitas tacos were amazing. The only negative I have to say is that they had ran out of fish and chicken, I don’t know if it is a common theme for them to run out of items but other than that the place is great.

Amazing hole-in-the-wall place with super tasty, affordably-priced food! One of my favorite meals I had in SD while I visited for a conference. I will definitely be heading back here again the next time I’m in the area. Only gripe is that the outdoor seating is very cramped. There is no indoor seating besides high chairs at a bar along the wall. Highly recommend this place, overall, though.

I don’t live in San Diego but travel here for work periodically. This place has to have some of the best Mexican food ever. Tacos that remind of what my Mom used to make, authentic chile relleno and rice and beans that have flavor. Delicious!

Rancho burrito, was perfect for breakfast, would have liked a little more egg. Burrito was so big could only eat half!

I come here every single time I am in San Diego and I am always so relieved it is still open. It’s the first time I had a really good fish tacos and it’s still my favorite place to get them. I also really like their Horchata. It looks unassuming but don’t let the looks fool you. In San Diego a taco place doesn’t stay open unless it is legit and this place has been open a long time. I can’t speak for the other menu items but if you like fish tacos, go to Lucy’s!
