It had been a while since I’d been cuz it was always too busy and we didn’t want to wait in line the night we wanted ramen. So, we were happy when we decided to try again on a weeknight and we got a table. The only bummer is the ramen was not nearly as good as it used to be. The shishito peppers were fantastic.

One of the better ramen spots in the area I would say. Prices were fairly reasonable. Service was really good. Food overall tasted really good. Got a few chuy hais, was thinking they were like the strongs in Japan but no cigar. I did like that I was able to choose the spice level for my ramen. I do however wish the bowl had came with more protein though and a full egg rather than half. Looking forward to returning.

2023: The shop has the neat wax-based fake food in the window like they do in Japan to let you see what they are serving. Had the lunch combo of pork miso ramen which also came with gyoza (pot stickers) and kraraage (fried chicken bits). While we did not have any, sushi is also an option. Service was good and fairly rapid too. I’ll rate the ramen an 8/10. The noodle itself was a bit chunkier than most places. Not a knock just an observation. I for one liked the heftier noodle. A bit of corn in there would have been great. I would recommend coming here.

This place is far from the best, amazing, beautiful, small, authentic Japanese Ramen Bar I have ever been to. The price is decent, you get full really nicely, the strawberry shake is to die for! I truly recommend that sake. The Sake had a very nice creamy texture, and the sweetness was subtle, and it tasted so good! The Ramen I ate was the Black Heights it had black garlic oil inside of it, and it was delectable. My boyfriend, and I came here before Valentine's Day since we figured places were gonna be extra busy. He ordered the Ramen Burrito haha he loved that as well, along with the Fries. I feel like everyone needs to know about this place. It's been in Normal Heights, on Adams avenue for 5 years, and they're on the online delivery apps. I forgot which one, but everyone needs to know! So, we can keep small businesses such as these open for a long time. Another thing to add is that this place is better than Taijima Ramen.

Perfect for a rainy night. Gluten free noodles are thinner than their traditional noodles, but my husband said he would consider the gluten free noodles the next time we visit. Kitchen was aware of the gluten free options, and everything was fresh and tasty. Will be coming back soon!

Excellent ramen, the best I have had! The pork belly was amazing, the deep flavor of roasted pork in the broth was amazing!

Food was pretty good. Space is cozy. It's in an area where there are other places to explore. I'd recommend this place to anyone who likes ramen or sushi.

The service was good and so was the food. Gluten-free friendly! The chicken chasu appetizer was delicious, and the ramen was very flavorful. However, the ramen had very little meat (even with the extra meat option). The atmosphere is cozy and seating is limited, but we had no issue getting a table.
