Probably one of the few rare places in SD for great drinks combined with top-notch service. Drinks are refreshing and tea is of excellent quality.

Ordered the genmaicha and chrysanthemum milk teas. Boba is in the harder side if you're into that.
Teas are strong, I do not know if it's in a good way though.

Best boba in San Diego - the quality of the tea and the boba is unbeatable. They have a user-friendly, non-overwhelming menu showing the teas in order of caffeine level, and always have a couple creative monthly specials. Plus, you can purchase loose leaf tea and other fun boba accessories. Love that there is some space to sit and work inside as well. A must-go place for visitors and locals alike!

This place has the best tea and boba by far. Its authentic and delicious and really just puts other boba shops to shame. I don't like getting my matcha tea from anywhere else. My ONLY complaint are the hours. I wish they were open earlier and closed later there have been so many times when my friend and I have been craving their drinks but they aren't open.

Taro milk tea is so so special that we have never had the same taste anywhere else. It is mingled with jasmine tea and taro with added honey boba. The shop has board games on a rack so I think people can actually enjoy their playtime staying longer in the tea shop. The shop also sells packages of pearls and boba materials..

Don't let the strip club in the plaza scare you away from here, this boba shop has great service and will customize your milk tea to the way you like it. The staff was able to make my hojicha tea hot and not too sweet to my liking. Will definitely visit again to try their seasonal drinks.
Side note, plenty of students come through here so you may wait a bit.

I love places where customers choose the sugar level. Pretty good boba, subtle sweetness & mostly soft/ only slightly chewy. The matcha was good, they tell you where it’s sourced from too. My drink was ~$7.

My friend recommended I try this place out since I would be in the area for the weekend. I really liked their barley milk tea, so much so that I went back the next day. Definitely will go back if I'm ever in San Diego!

Best milk tea in San Diego! Love their tea options, can't go wrong with milk tea or a tea fresca. I particularly love their jasmine and oolong milk teas. Right now they have a strawberry black tea lemonade that's wonderful. I also love buying their loose leaf teas to drink at home. They also offer boba box kits that have your tea of choice, boba, and honey syrup so you can make milk tea and honey boba at home.

This one was new to me and exited to try after all the raves. Located a few doors down from Daiso.

Black milk tea with honey boba (tea was made perfect, but boba was hard for my taste.. wasn't warm. was my fav for tea flavor)
Matcha milk tea (made perfect)
Frescha ( mixed berry tea, perfect tea flavor)
Wish the tea option was more, but good for what they had. Lots of seating space
