Taco Surf Taco Shop

We live in Idaho but every time we’re in San Diego we have to go to Taco Surf, it’s hands down the best burritos. We tried other places in San Diego and so far, nothing comes close to Taco Surf. And the service is great too. We just spent 6 days in San Diego and ate at Taco Surf 3 times while we were there.

They have all the hits here, including an amazing California burrito and great fish tacos. I could’ve use more cream on the fish tacos, but the fry on them was absolutely perfect, seasoned so well. Everything came out fast and hot and we loved that The hot sauces were in squeeze bottles. The service was quick, even though there is a line out the door. there’s lots of space to eat here.

Pretty good food here, the breakfast burrito is really good. Prices are akttlw but on the expensive side for burritos, but it's okay. Parking around here is very tricky, you might have to drive through a couple streets before finding a spot. They did forget to bring the drink I had ordered, so I had to go up to ask. It's usually not packed, even during lunch. A lot of people do takeout. They did have a huge biker gang come in that was planned and everything.

We absolutely LOVE this place! Taco Surf has been a restaurant that we visit for amazing food and service every year on our vacays! It's been a great place to eat Mexican style food for dine in or carry out! Their portions are generous and super fresh, too!! We will never stop going to Taco Surf when we visit the Pacific Beach area in San Diego, CA. We love it. 👍👍 Two thumbs up and a Very Big Recommendation for anyone who enjoys Mexican food. Absolutely ❤️!!

First place I stopped when I visited SD. I was recommended the surf and turf. Talk about a burrito. It was probably the size of a 32oz water bottle. The ingredients all worked very well together, but I wish the carne asada has been a little more tender. You will definitely get bang for your buck here. Staff is very friendly as well. I would come back to try more menu items

We actually got a recommendation from a local and forgot the name.of the place...we thought this was the place, it turned out it wasn't. What a great error though. Honestly I'm from Chicago and grew up living off of food from burrito joints...this was by far the best burrito I've ever had in my life. The service was amazing.... literally amazing. My son is a recent graduate from MCRD San Diego and the gentleman working there knew it right off the bat. I wish I could remember his name...but there was so much we did and I have a terrible memory. He was great anyhow...and if you're reading this, YOU VERY TALL sir have exceptional customer service. I hope I get the chance again to come back for a visit someday and get to talk with you again. Thank you for being Awesome.
