I’ve been coming here for over 20 years and it’s still really good food. Right now, I especially like the skinny burrito option. I can get the same burritos in a smaller size, which is all I can eat, at a lower price. I really appreciate that they offer this option!

This place is great! I wish more of my favorite restaurants did this. This place is so clever and when I say clever this is why. You can have half orders of food items. For example I chose the half nachos, that means lower price and a lighter load for my calorie intake. Why can’t every restaurant do this?! Lastly, the food is good and more than plentiful. In the pictures you’ll see I ordered carne asada nachos and the chicken taquitos.

Pretty good California burrito. I was going to go to cotijas but I seen bad reviews so I came to this place instead chile peppers . Didn't think about taking a picture because I was hungry😄

Nice people and great food. If you want a quick lunch and your in the area then stop in. My original review was three stars but that was not based on the food, prices or service. I rated three stars due to quick lunch stop vs. fine dining. All of that said, I highly recommend!

I recommend the surf and turf... Absolutely delectable. If you go to Tierrasanta, you have to stop at this place. Flavor is outstanding. Service is good. Prices aren't too bad, and well worth it. I would have given five stars, but I don't give anyone five stars! Ok, I'm lying. But, only the best of the best of the best if the best of the... You get the point.

Had the bacon breakfast burrito the other day and it was awesome! It was large and had good flavor, the meat was cooked well and didn't taste cheap. I also really like their orange hot sauce.
I saw a picture of their carne asada nachos on Yelp and will most likely try that tonight. Very excited!

awesome place, great delicious food, carne asada fries and surf and turf is a must. fresh made salsa. friendly staff. online ordering is great and convenient. delivery is doordash unfortunately so watch for the sneaky fine print gotchas place is conveniently located in the neighborhood so best to order online before you leave your house and pickup yourself. it will be ready when you arrive.

Best carnitas burrito I've ever had. Fish tacos for $1 and tasted great. I tried all the salsas from the salsa bar and each were excellent. First time there and can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. Not all at once of course...lol!

Cool little taco shop! I got the Cali burrito and it was really good, and big, no way I could finish it. Friendly staff, clean restaurant. I don't know if there are more but I went to the one in Tierrasanta. I guess if you're in the area and wanting some Mexican food I'd recommend it!

First time here and we loved our food. Surf and Turf burrito tastes great and the rice was also very tasty in the burrito. Blown away. Going to come back often. Staff was really nice.

My favorite taco shop! For some reason I often have tummy trouble after eating taco shop food, but not this one. Chile Peppers is the best! I always feel great after eating here, and the food is always fresh and delicious!

Went here yesterday for dinner ordered a salad to replace the rice the cashier charged me for the salad had extra black beans the salad was shredded lettuce you get on top of rolled taco's And the chicken was dry and small amounts wasn't happy . We got this food through ubber eats once and it was better then . :( one more thing the cashier said no restrooms , how do you all go pee ? Had to use Subways :( .

It's exactly what you expect a mexican food place to be. Although, their tacos are deep fried which is pretty cool. Their chips are really good as well.

I love California Burritos and have yet to find the BEST until I came here! The salsa bar was an extra plus. Different flavors, distinct flavors! Definitely coming by everytime I’m in town!

We've been frequenting Chile Peppers since they opened in....2000-ish timeframe. Best Carne Asada Burrito in San Diego (my opinion), my favorite place to order out. They have catered several parties for us, and every time it has been fantastic. Love the foods, love the sauces - this is an exceptional restaurant.
