In A Nutshell: -This Coronado Brewing location is pretty good. -Parking can be a little challenging b/c their lot is small & the co-located w/ other businesses in the area, so just have some patience. -This location also happens to be where their finance operations are HQ'd. -If you bring your dog, I would advise you bring another friend or two w/ you. -The reason why I say this is there is a slight "catch 22" if you come alone w/ your dog. -The outdoor patio area is the only area they allow your dog, but you can't bring them into the tap room. -You can't order food or beer from the server bringing out food/drinks to the patio, you can only order from the tap room. -So if you come alone, just ask a friendly stranger or hell a very nice finance employee to watch your dog while you go inside to order :) -With all that being said, their choice of beers/ciders are really good. -I really like the cool names they have on the beer menu. -I enjoyed a couple of their ciders, which were very refreshing on a warm fall day in Southern California. -Their Islander Ahi Poke is very, very good it's served w/ a poke marinade that has cucumber & avocado over seaweed-slaw. It's topped off w/ wasabi cream, sesame seeds & microgreens w/ a healthy side of wonton crisps. Overall, I enjoyed the atmosphere, the great beverages, the ahi poke & chatting w/ a couple of their finance people.

Ciro is my all time favorite Beertender at Coronado. So incredibly knowledgeable and kind. Plus the melon pepino kettle sour was phenomenal.

What's not to love with an open patio which is both dog and kid friendly. The Orange Witt and Happy Daze won me over but the Stout with bits of Oyster didn't disappoint either. Still not sure how the service works but we relied on the Thor looking bartender for assistance. Saw multiple servers running food and drinks but never got approached or asked if we needed anything, so you may need to be a bit forward at this establishment.

One of the more impressive breweries north of the 8. Location is very central to San Diego and offers a variety of beers on tap. A big fan of the tap list being from hazy's all the way to seltzers. Indoor area is modest, but the biggest talking point has to be the outdoor patio area. My dog thoroughly enjoyed it as it was spacious and not cramped under any reason. Bbq pizza was very delicious as well and every thing else in the menu stood out significantly. Mission Bay/Fiesta Island right down the street too. Family friendly as well.

ALOT of beers on draft. Whether you are a IPA, seltzer, pilsner, ale, etc. person does not matter. They have numerous beers on draft for whatever type of beer you prefer. I would highly recommend for anyone in the area to check this place out. Their outdoor seating area is very nice and accommodates many people which is a huge plus.

My partner and I stopped in for food and a couple pints on vacation. The friday night vibe was a lot of "starting the weekend" with the clientele and the servers were efficient but very busy. We sampled 4 different beers, with the Islander and Weekend Vibes being favorites, but we do like a stronger IPA so ymmv. The pizza came out fast for how many orders were put in just before the kitchen closed. It was delicious.
