Went with a friend and had a fish taco and all the chips and salsa I could eat (first bucket is free and it's plenty!). The food was fine. But that's just it. Okay. Not what I had my heart set on when I wanted Mexican food in SD. But staff were friendly and the space was very clean.

We were at a party on the patio. Our waitress was great, the food was good , nice cross breeze outdoors.
I've been there for Happy Hour as well and that's fantastic.

Ala Carte Cheese Chile relleno was delicious. Chips and salsa were plentiful and tasty. Relaxing as we sat outside.

We drove from Ramona and it was our first time visiting Tip Leo’s in Poway, it had a really cool vibe.
We started off with a perfect margarita and the bartender made it PERFECT! Our dinner came out and it was hot and delicious. We had delicious food and a great experience… we will be back.

We drove 20 miles to find the open one. Yaya by USD. Saturday music dancing and open til 9:30pm.

Came for taco Tuesday, cod fish taco for 4.50. Also had the happy hour crispy jalapeño quesadilla which was great. Needed some sour cream.

This was the first time I dined at this Tio Leo's. If you know this chain, you know that it isn't hoity toity gourmet but, as I learned this day, their dishes are very consistent in quality and presentation across the different locations. I had the chicken chimichanga and it hit the spot. The salsa for the chips was tasty and had a slight bit of heat. Our servers were attentive and friendly. 5 stars for satisfaction.
