The food is amazing! I'd love to see them get a bigger location but I'll take what I can get! The crispy chicken is 10/10, order it with sticky rice, you won't regret it! Love this place!

Picked up a sammich and some spring rolls on the way to the airport, not knowing what I was in for. Holy moly was it good, and for a very reasonable price. Wish i could have brought this place back home in my carry-on. Enjoy, San Diegans!

Super nice people very well executed food! Great value and portions! Bun bo hue was fantastic! Grilled pork skewers were delicious as well. As you drive my own Rosecrans it looks like it would be difficult to get to, but just park in back. There's plenty of parking.

In my opinion SD has some of the best Vietnamese food in SoCal and this Banh Mi is up there with some of the best.
The location is tucked away in a fairly low traffic plaza.
Decor is simple nothing too extravagant and it doesn't look like a hole in the wall.
This place seems to get a lot of delivery orders and they have it down and were more busy with those than actual customers.
The place was fairly empty, only one couple dining in.
I wasn't attended to right away but after that the service was spot on.
Placed an order to go, they're Ban Mi special and a Vietnamese coffee.
Was handed the coffee as it was ready and it tasted pretty strong, kinda how I like it not too sweet at all.
The Ban Mi was perfectly balanced and had a nice kick.
I will definitely be back when in the area
Biggest downside was the bathroom.

Great food, best banh mi I've ever had. Strawberry smoothie was also delicious. Friendly staff. You always know it's going to be good when you walk in and it smells amazing. Very affordable as well.

Amidst the hustle and bustle of the city, this humble Vietnamese bistro sits comfortably, like a beacon of culinary simplicity and authenticity. Nestled in the corner of a busy street, its modest demeanor cloaks a dining experience brimming with unpretentious quality and warmth.
The star of their menu, the bánh mì, is a testament to the beauty of simplicity. Recently, however, I was compelled to try the sizzling beef, which was an absolute delight. The beef, expertly prepared, melted in my mouth – a joyous celebration of simplicity and robust flavors that speaks volumes about the kitchen's commitment to crafting unassuming yet satisfying dishes.
The servers contribute significantly to the restaurant's charm. Their supportiveness, attentiveness, and warm demeanor echo the very qualities that make this establishment a beloved dining spot. Their service is an ode to the beauty of the everyday - it's a simple, but essential harmony in the composition of the dining experience.
While the restaurant may seem like just another eatery on a busy street, it offers a welcoming refuge that's akin to returning home. It's the perfect spot to wind down after work, to simply sit and relish the comfort of good food and a convivial atmosphere. It embodies the charm of the familiar, a pleasure that's often overlooked in the pursuit of the novel.
In summary, this restaurant is a treasure for those seeking solace in the form of homely, heart-warming cuisine. Its charm lies in its simplicity, offering a gastronomic experience that's comforting and gratifying. It's a welcoming corner of culinary pleasure that calls one back time and again, truly a testament to the joy of simple, everyday dining. Highly recommended!

Biggest and most delicious banh mi sandwich ever. Really yummy and only $7.95. Clean tables and really nice servers (the Dutch girl was super friendly)
Their Restroom is a little old and dirty when I went to wash my hands. Lots of free parking in the back. Fresh veggies and perfect French bread. Their taro chip was delicious too. Egg rolls were great as well
