Portal Coffee - San Diego - Photo album

Really nice coffee shop in Downtown San Diego. The baristas are super helpful and help answer any questions that you may have. Orders are placed through their self-service kiosks (which I like a lot personally as it avoids any confusion on what your exact order is). Service is quick and beverages
I was initially excited to try this place, especially for their avocado bagel toast. However, upon arriving, I was disappointed to learn that they no longer serve it and the food menu is quite limited. We picked the cookie muffin, which was decent, but the standout was definitely their delicious blu
I know a couple of the owners of this cafe, and they are literally the best humans. Inside the cafe is super cozy and perfect for taking a break if you work in Little Italy. It was fun to see a local DJ play a lo-fi set on the outdoor patio to celebrate on their annual opening day. For those who lik
Contemporary exposed brick and hvac ambience. Decent outside seating, although slightly on top of Pacific Highway. It’s all about the coffee - and that doesn’t disappoint. Australian style and quality of oat flat white. Plenty of tables. Perky baristas.
Aroma of bean is fantastic, I have to bought a bean back home. If you want to try specialty coffee this is one of the good spot.
this has become one of my favorite spots to get coffee. i always get a hot lavender vanilla latte with almond milk. every single time its good and delicious. employees are nice and the atmosphere is so calm, i recommend it! also, their pastries always have a great taste.
Best coffee in SD. Period. Coffee quality is consistent and never disappoints. They also have nice pastries although it’s not made in house, they run out by 10am usually. Great vibes on weekends, not great to work from because music is load and outdoor seats not so comfy, but great for anything else
Quick service and delicious coffee! Small sizing for the coffee, but it is just the right serving! Love the vibes in here.
My favorite coffee shop, full stop. I miss it daily since moving, and come back for their daily brews, cold brews, cappuccinos, REAL macchiatos, and lavender lattes to name a few. Visit on select Saturdays for live music spinning for the ultimate vibe and treats.
Great place to come and work with plenty of seating, indoor and out. The drinks are solid and they have three self-checkout stations at which to order.
Espresso and barista craft is a solid 4 stars. But the staff is so friendly and the location so great that it gets a 5 stars no doubt. Well worth the walk from the convention center or wherever you’re staying.
Would love to give a 6 stars to this place: 1. love how easy it is to order on the machine 2. Love how easy to choose sugar level for flavored latte on the machine, I usually only go with regular latte because any syrup could be too sweet to me and I hate to ask for less syrup every time 3. Caramel
Love the atmosphere super dope baristas, great music playing, and delicious coffee! Butter croissant was huge. Bought 2 items for less than $10. A lot was sold out before 1pm Leave a tip for your barista :))
Great coffee, not bitter. Very smooth. They work quick when the lines get long. Pastries, almond croissant, are tremendous but expensive.
Great local coffee shop with interesting house made syrups and unique pastries. Even though you order at a kiosk, the barista made the extra effort to bring the coffee directly to your table. My caramel cappuccino with oat milk was perfect. The kouign amann with pear was good and not too sweet. I li
I like that this is just a bit away from the main busyness of Little Italy. It has a lot of customers coming through without the wait and without the crowds. It has indoor seating  and outdoor seating that wraps around the corner. It's fun to see they have a dj on Sundays playing good tunes keeping
I've been a few times and love it - one of the best coffee shops I've tried in downtown. I usually order an iced vanilla latte with nitro oat milk. And their portal pocket is absolutely delicious. Have to order using computer screens (which has its pros & cons), but the staff is helpful when anyone
Such a great little find in Little Italy by the waterfront. It has a super cute patio outside, lots of tables & light inside. Very chill vibe. It doesn’t blast music like some coffee shops. The avocado toast with egg was delicious. It was big enough to split with someone. The matcha was strong and
