This place is as good as it gets for a West Coast pizzeria! Being a native New Yorker, I am critical of all of things pizza and Italian, sometimes excessively. But these guys, themselves New Yorkers, bring a rare and delicious delicacy to the Worst Coast....I mean the West Coast 😂😂😂. They are only place I am aware of that makes this delicious thick-crust pizza in all of SoCal. Additionally, they make an amazing NY thin crust pizza as well. This is my favorite pizzeria in the entire state of California!

Some of the best pizza in San Diego! (And everyone I’ve shared this pizza with has agreed!) The thick crust Sicilian pizzas are the bomb, and the employees are also super nice. The Sicilians are a little bit pricier I think, but for the amount of pizza you get and the sheer goodness of it - well worth it.

Super basic and I freaking love it! Vintage vibe for sure. The pizza was delicious, and baked to perfection! The crust on the pizza had the perfect crunch to it. I got a slice of pepp, jalapeno and a margarita slice! They definitely hit the spot. I really enjoyed the oregano they had in the shaker! I definitely see myself coming back and I would highly recommend trying it out!

Delicious pizza and bigger than advertised (the 16" thin crust was over 18". I measured it)! Will definitely be coming back! Maybe one of the "thick" pizzas next time.
Update: I came back for the thick crust and it's every bit as good, strong recommend, definitely one of the best pizzas I've had in the city!

Such a hidden gem. I highly recommend such friendly staff. Really good options by the slice. Two slices big Sicilian slices for under 10 bucks. Sauce is great cheesy crust is flavorful. Coming back for sure. Next time I’m having one of their beers on tap.

I’ve lived in California (NorCal and now SoCal) for over 20 years and just found my pizza place. Just tried this for the first time. Got the square pizza to take home. Perfectly seasoned sauce, and plenty of it! Perfect cheese, soft but crispy crust. I could not stop eating! Three pieces was a little too much for one meal, but I feel no regret. *Burp!* Perfection.

Another great slice spot. They have thick square slices and thin circle slices . Both very good . Friendly service, good prices . Definitely a must if you like extra crispy slices .

Great pizza! I love meat but their veggie options are phenomenal. They have a broccoli garlic slice and nino espinoza slice, both are amazing and a must try. They offer both thin slices and thick slices of pizza (Detroit style).

Exceptional pizza slices! Our group tried several different kinds of slices and all of them were great. Owner Atal made sure that everything was to our liking. He was proud to talk about the neighborhood and happy to share a bit about his recipe. Can't wait to come back to Sicilian Thing Pizza.
