D'o Thai Cottage

So....my wife's father actually worked as a chef at this place when it was Cafe Pacifica back in the day! After moving to the area D'O Thai Cottage has not disappointed as an easy and affordable option for good Thai food in a neighborhood famous for its Mexican. I must confess that ever since downloading the "Eat 24" app and finding out that this place delivers to your doorstep for "FREE" we have taken full advantage! Tasty tum yum soup, drunken noodle with chicken, or one of their great rice dishes are usually our go to and can't forget washing everything down with an ice cold chai iced tea that is just crazy good! Have to say that food is always delivered on time and ready to grub down.

To put it simply, excellent. I ordered the Tropical Fish and it was well prepared, and very spicy. Of course you can opt out of the spicy-ness. A friend ordered Pineapple Fried Rice which comes with spicy shrimp and chicken covered in a house sauce, served in a half of pineapple. Adds a very distinct flavor to the already delicious food. If you like Thai spices and are in, or around, Old Town San Diego, you wouldn't want to miss out on this great food.

I ventured out from downtown to visit old town. At first I considered mexican, but then i decided that i wanted to try this place. Best Thai food I've ever had and I am from NYC. Vegetable soup was flavored well. I ordered the ginger lunch special and it was so delicious. The food came out quickly. The prices were reasonable. Would eat here again.
