Tandoori Express - San Diego - Photo album

We ate dinner here for the first time. It’s a casual restaurant. We had tandoori shrimp, chicken curry, and samosas. We enjoyed our dinner and everything we ordered were delicious. Our server who also was the cashier was very friendly. Our food came fast although they were busy with people dini
Lunch special is good bang for your buck! $12 for 2 entrees, rice, naan & salad! We especially enjoyed the Chicken Tikka Masala, Veg Korma & Samosas!!
Great tasty food. Good portion. Mr Singh is a busy person but if he has time, he has great attitude and nice person.
The Singh there is very rude but the other guy is nice. When you go and you find a guy with Turban, just RUN !!!. He is too rude. Food is amazing <3. It is funny how one person's attitude is ruining the entire restaurant's credibility even if the food is too good.
Love this place. The food is excellent. For lunch, during the week, the prices are crazy low. Portions are ample. Today I had the Chili Paneer. It was a paneer cheese, bell peppers, onions and tomatoes in a fabulous sweet and sour sauce that I would guess was a tamarind, tomato and butter sauce. It
Fantastic local spot for well spiced authentic northern Indian cuisine. Wonderful service, diverse menu, high quality. I’m a low-key connoisseur of Indian food and this spot is a new local favorite!
The food is excellent and incredible in value. I order a bunch of food for $40 and I got (4) meals out of it. I have to admit, the staff was not welcoming and the gentleman that helped me could not crack a smile. But the food was excellent. I rather have great food than a happy staff. I also discove
This place has an excellent indian cuisine. We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Mixed Vegetables Korma and plain naan. They were exquisite meal. I love the fresh ingredients and sauce texture and taste. I like this place. Friendly staff, clean, plenty of parking. I will definitely come again
Tandoori Xpress is a great place for lunch. They have really good Indian food. Lunch special is under 10 dollars and you receive a lot of food. I got the Curry Lamb it was so good.
So good my husband and I we really love butter chicken and theirs wasn’t disappointing the medium is not super spicy. The garlic naan is one of the best we ever had we recommend you to order 2-3 extra orders of naan for 2 butter chicken Portions are big so be ready for it. Definitely we coming back
Lunch Review: I came at 12:10pm on a Friday. The restaurant was mostly full, but me and my friend were able to find a table immediately. It seems people come and go frequently enough that seating shouldn't be a problem. Location: Parking is an issue here during busier times. They are located in a c
The curry is really reallly really good! This 4 star review is for the Naan lovers out there. We ordered through grub hub and the curry didnt come with any garlic naan?! What?! Only indian restaurant I’ve been to that doesnt give free naan with their meals. The thick creamy and savory curry makes u
Enjoyed the visit. Friendly wait staff. Food was well prepared and flavorful.. Lots of options for vegetarians. Will be returning when in the area.
Stopped on a whim after looking for Indian food in Rancho Bernardo. Got food to-go. Very generous food portions. We got butter chicken, saag paneer, vegetable korma, and lamb vindaloo. They gave us two huge takeout trays full of rice to accompany the order. Only complaint was that the man working th
4.0?!? Seriously??? This is simply the best freaking Indian restaurant in San Diego by far! The food is incredible! Customer service could be better but id put up with a lot worse considering how delicious the food is.
Hands down the best Indian food in San Diego. The staff is warm and welcoming, and the servings are LARGE. To-go orders give at least one extra meal... an hour or two later. ;-) We've tried a few different things on the menu- their paneer is very good.
