Checked out the weekend buffet here—loved it! Great variety of South Indian dishes, especially enjoyed the poori and dosa. The tea was good. Definitely a top recommendation!!
We ordered chilli idli, Mysore masala dosa, ghee roast dosa and podi dosa all of the items were delicious. Everyone loved the sambar and coconut chutney.
It was awesome! It was my first ever Michelin star restaurant chain experience! Never knew they have vegan options available. A friend suggested the vegan momos/dumplings. I would love to have this Viatnamese cuisine every day. Reservation os recommeneded, otherwise the walk-in wait time is 30 mins

Seeing many of the negative reviews especially from those I assume to be Indian, I was sort of afraid to try Chennai Tiffins as food is becoming more and more expensive. I want to be the first to say that the viral 3.5 rating phenomenon for Chinese food
We went to Chennai tiffins on a weekday ( Tuesday) around 7:30pm. We took the dine in service, the restaurant wasn't crowded but it was about right amount of.people.
We ordered idillis, masala Dosa, batura , tea and lassi.

Just come and order their THALI - whichever they have. Don't bother going through the menu and trying to figure out what it is.

Must-try restaurant in San Diego! Delicious South Indian food, neat & clean place, and unlimited sambhar with three types of chutneys. Highly recommend idli with sambhar!
I was introducing two of my friends to simple Indian food.
They enjoyed the tasty food and were not overwhelmed. Thanks to the cooks and the staff for making them feel welcomed.

Amazing and legit south Indian food with indoor and outdoor seating. Huge selection of dosas of every kind. Also most other south Indian dishes like idlis and vada. All dishes have authentic flavor and quantities are good for the price. Friendly staff though the lady serving us did not have a mask.
We had an amazing dinner here. We loved the unlimited quantity of sambhar and chutneys. All chutneys like peanut, cocunut were delicious. Their dosas were great. Their service was very fast. I would recommend anyone to eat south indian food here.

Honestly, this is currently the best South Indian restaurant in San Diego. Dint like this place in 2019-2020. Looks like things have changed post Covid.
The place is always clean, have been there mainly for dinner. Friendly staff and extremely tasty food. I hope they stick to this service.
