Loved this place, really nice people and the food was delicious. The Coffee Kat "roll" was a little hand sized yeasty dough roll, stuffed with egg, tomato and feta cheese. It was tasty!!! I would definitely get that again. Hubby had Chicken and creamy sauce pie, which was like a slice of quiche. Yum. They also sell "Brazilian cheese balls" which are frozen, they are take and bake. They are gluten free, cheese and tapioca flour.

Great food and great service! The chocolate cake is to die for. I stop by this place often as it's close to my work. I've had the empadao, bread and coxinha and of course the cake, but I got to try more things in the menu.

Great corner coffee shop. Alex (owner) is always friendly and will get my order started when he sees me coming in. If you ask for it, they have punch cards where you get your 10th coffee free. They also have a new location at 1344 Garnet Ave (between Gresham and Fanuel) which has the same quality and seemed like even a little more selection.

Cute corner coffee shop. Very clean inside. Great for a quick little bite & some coffee. The owner Alex did a huge favor for me. I was looking for a place to take my wife for coffee on her birthday morning & surprise her with a birthday card already there when we arrived. I found this place. I called & spoke with Alex, he told me I could drop off the card during the weekend & he would deliver it to my wife. Well, he delivered! During our meal he walked over to her as he handed her the card & said, "You have mail here for you." It was a success & my wife loved it. Coffee was perfect too.

I went once and meant to go back the next morning for more.. I had to leave the state tho. However, BEST COFFEE, BEST SERVICE & they do a range of things to eat and sip on. The smoothie was amazing. My coffee was even better lol (he gave me extra caramel which I love). I'm totally coming back when i get back in town

I have visited many coffee shops in San Diego and this place has the best coffee, my favorite. Very friendly staff. Most of the clientele seem to be friendly locals but everyone will feel welcome here. Lots of good Brazilian style snacks. Usually not crowded and has a very relaxed atmosphere (not a bunch of people setting up their office space and talking on their speaker phone). They do have a password protected Wi-Fi if needed. Best place on Cass Street for sure and I have tried them all.

Great customer service, lines always move quickly and staff is always smiling. Their cold brew is amazing, smooth and not bitter. Their espresso, Lavazzo, is also one of the best quality brands in the world! The ambience is great too! Inside is clean and modern with A.C.. outside you have your choice of a lovely enclosed patio on the north side or some street seating out front. There is always a beautiful, cool ocean breeze on hot days, making it a delight to sit outside no matter how warm it is! The beautiful trees in front also add to the soothing, relaxing ambience, adding a nice touch of green. Food is delicious and there is great Brazilian food as well. Every customer I spoke with, despite their age or background, unequivocally loved all the food! Not a single critique or complaint! Prices are great for both food and coffee! Parking is street parking and usually easy, except perhaps on Sundays, since it is directly across from two churches, both Lutheran and Catholic. So plan accordingly during church times!

Just up the street from 99 cups, but a 100x better. It's the cleanest store I've ever been in, coffee is amazing and priced extremely fair. Food is outstanding and I always feel so welcomed when I come in. Would recommend to anyone over and over again! Thanks Koffee Kat

Awesome!!! I'm a big coffee lover, but recently morning sickness has made it hard to enjoy it. I happened to be on that street and stopped in for a cup, got it with almond milk! It was amazing!! I enjoyed every last drop, and even got a ham and cheese that was so delicious, not greasy at all! Thank you for the first meal I've enjoyed in so long! Will surely be back

Everyone here is amazing! Food is amazing and the coffee is my favorite in all of PB. Don't be afraid to try the pastries, they are spiced perfectly and I have no idea how they make their bread, but it's so good. Their pork sandwhich is my favorite for lunch.
