Tacos Mimi

Amazing taco stand! Family dropped in for dinner and we were put off (at first) because we expected a full restaurant. However, service was friendly, so we placed an order and claimed a few of the limited seats. Carne asada, Birria, Pastor, quesadilla for the kids, chips & guac. It was all prepared fresh and packed with flavor. It was the end of a long day, and my tired kids had been fussing with each other non-stop when we arrived. All I heard for the next 10 minutes was "wow" and "yum" interspersed with laughter. These were some of the best tacos I've eaten in my life and were certainly the best I've found on the northern side of the border.

I came her after a long day for the most part I was having down time they're open at 9: 30pm and they happen to be open till 10 pm . On a Tuesday night..! Great service friendly atmosphere hooked me up incredibly awesome place and great customer service!!! Will come back and invite friends and family!!

My boyfriend and I were in the mood for some good street tacos. We read the reviews and thought we check it out. So good! We ordered their street tacos, bomb.com. When we walked in we were greeted by Ariceli, she was super friendly, helpful and all around awesome. She made are tacos fast and delicious. The service and food were so good, we went back the next day for seconds. Give Ariceli a raise for her excellent custemer service :)

I’ll give it 5 stars because although not my favorite tacos, the prices are fair, place is clean, staff is pleasant and friendly. Worth checking out to see how you like the tacos. That’s the thing about the SD Taco scene....some you’ll love, some you’ll like and some you won’t. But just because there’s others you might like more, that’s not necessarily a reason for anything less that 5 Stars. Give Tacos Mimi a try.

This is a good place to stop by for a casual taco if you don't want to travel any further, and you're in the mood. Taco Surf PB is right down the way from it, and is honestly much better, so don't go out of your way for these. The fish taco and the Carne asada were great though! Nothing bad about it, but it really is just a basic, run-of-the-mill taco. Friendly staff, friendly place.

My wife and I are visiting san diego and have come here nearly every day, i wish i could give them more stars. These are simply put the best tacos that either of us have ever had in our lives. My wife loves the shrimp tacos and the fish tacos and I cant get enough of the al pastor. If you are visiting san diego you should make it a priority to stop by, you will find it well worth your time!
