A lovely diner that is refreshingly to the point. Floating in the sea of trendy North Park brunch spots, North Park Diner stands out as an old school, no-frills restaurant for classic diner food. Look past all the nonsense in the modern hip restaurant world and just come here for some good-ole diner food!! Also seems to be family owned with a lot of history, so do the neighborhood a favor.

I recently had breakfast at north park diner and will most certainly go back. My food was priced well, silvered quickly, and I even had left overs! I enjoyed my Mexican breakfast and my girlfriend loved her chicken sandwich. There was plenty of seating and parking was ample.

The good: the food was delicious the chicken fried stake was bomb the gravy was on point. The parking was central. Staff was helpful and was very kind.
The bad: they could use a face lift the dirty yellow paint kind of an eye sore.
The ugly:nothing.
I would recommend this to anyone who wants a bang for their buck. I would eat here again.

Visiting San Diego, we found this place as we were looking for another restaurant along the way and we decided to go to this place instead and glad that we did, food was good pancakes tasted homemade and hash browns were delicious! Nice quiet place to go have breakfast or brunch if you don't want to wait in long lines at other restaurants in the area lol

If you're hungry you should give them a try, also the day we were there the waitress quit so they were very short handed but still really good.

Came here for the first time today to grab breakfast to go on my way to work. I walked in and immediately appreciated the simplicity of the decor. It reminds me of the diners my family would stop at while on vacation when I was a child. Lots of booths and tables inside and outside seating as well.
The staff were very friendly and I quickly placed my order. The food came out quickly and I was on my way to work. It looks and smells good, and I think I’m going to be on time!! I will add to this review after I eat the food 😊

Love this diner. We go frequent due to the good food, nice staff, and atmosphere. I usually get the 2 eggs and corn beef hash. It's absolutely delicious. Our favorite breakfast in North Park.

Not a bad place, I did not like my food but could just be I ordered the wrong plate. Parking lot is a plus. Customer service was fantastic. I will check out again for breakfast.
