Epic Wings

I fondly remember Epic Wings formerly called Wings and Things back in the 90's. Let me just say this Carmel Mountain location sent me back to the 90s with their Wings having an intense flavor, crispy outside and juicy inside. Yes bones will be cleaned, and fingers will be locked. The french fries taste and look freshly cut, and are a little bit bigger then Inn and Outs. Definitely encourage you to stop by.

This is our # 1 Wing Spot in San Diego. We visited from North Carolina and had just enough time to make it to this Location. The Manager had no problem with taking our order and did explain that it would have to be a Carry Out Order because the dining room was closing in 15min. We explained that we did not want to drive back to our Hotel downtown and said she would accommodate our request. The food was hot and fresh and the remaining employees were still friendly and didn’t try to rush us out. All the remaining employees continued to clean the Restaurant and Prep for the Morning employees. We want to Thank the Manager and her Staff for the Outstanding Customer Service. Excellent Manager who cares so much about Staff and the Customers. This Young Lady needs to be a owner. Thanks so Much for the Excellent Service.

The strips are just delicious. The breading that covers the moist and flavorful chicken is light and crispy allowing the flavor sauces you choose to coat it perfectly. The fresh made bread sticks are soft and flavorful. Plenty of seating and tv screens covering all the local sports to enjoy while you dine. Be sure to not bring cash as they have, by no means popular design, use a cashless system to pay. The service is pretty quick and the options for food plentiful.

They have removed boneless wings from their menu. When I was ordering I received little explanation on why that change was made. They also need to be available for phone orders from 5-8. Besides that I would rate this place five stars but the littlest changes made the biggest impact on my experience.

We ordered a package of wings, bread sticks, sauce, and salad online for Super Bowl Sunday. I picked it up at the time we specified, and was expecting some chaos as many people buy snacks and finger food for this game. It was all orderly and on-time. The quality is what I have always expected of this restaurant.
