Pailin Thai Cafe

Came around 3 during weekday. Not crowded after all. The noodle dishes we tried were delicious. They even had angel wings here. However, they didn't grind the chicken meat as well as some places I've been to. Think this place is a family owned. They did have some kids running around ( think it was their lunch time). If you don't mind that, I would try this place out.

Was craving some Thai food late and saw Pailin Thai was closing soon, a spot I've frequented since a young age. Called at 8:25 pm, google said they were closing at 8:30 pm. Not encouraging this last-second type behavior but I asked if I could still place an order for pickup and they said yes no problem. I believe I was speaking to the owner on the phone. Considering its a Tuesday night in a local area for the owner to be there is impressive. I ordered a Pad Thai chicken (spicy level 7) with no bean sprouts. They had it ready within 10 minutes. It was delicious and the spice level was perfect, best Pad Thai I've had in a while (Arizona's Thai food is no match for San Diego's, Pailin is a local spot that has been around a long time and does it authentically). No photo because I had to eat, it was too good. Portion size was perfect (might I add that it was a bit more than I have received in the past which is awesome).

You are missing out if you don't come eat here! Usually we get take out but tonight, we decided to change it up and dine in. The food came out quick, fresh and absolutely delicious. The service we were treated with was par to none. The decor and tranquil music established a peaceful ambience. We had soup followed by curry and then for dessert we had ice cream and sticky rice. We had a lovely conversation with one of the owners about the fresh mint and ripe mangoes (ask him to show you some pictures from his garden 🤩) Can't wait to go back!

I have been going to this fantastic restaurant for many years and I have always had an Amazing experience! From the beautiful ambiance/decor to the very friendly staff to the super delicious 😋 food! If you want an Excellent Thai experience then this is the place to go! Family owned and operated very sweet, loving and generous. Please go support them and enjoy yourselves!
