Nunu's Cocktail Lounge

Nunu’s is an unsuspecting little tavern, but I found myself pleasantly surprised! The sangria was quite tasty (and strong), and the yard bird club was really quite a good sandwich. I was impressed by the quality as I only expected run-of-the-milk bar food. Nunu’s does a good job of elevating their fare and drink to the next level. The atmosphere is semi-loungey and it feels intimate enough that you can have a fairly private and experience in a crowded bar. I’ll definitely be back!

I love the atmosphere, everyone from the bartender to the chef is and always continues to he courtesy and respectful to patrons. By far the best Pork Ribs in town. Burgers and fries are to die for and it always comes from a place of love. You can tell the chef has a true sense and passion for having people feel good through the eating experience. I am a lifelong patron. #RespectTheRIBS

I stayed at a hotel near this bar in 2019. 4 years later and I still rave about it and tell people to come here. I remember I first enetered it was late, there was a sports bar nearby that was loud and crazy and this place seemed creepy and lonely at first. Nobody was in there, it was dark inside, it was creepy. I decided to stay and order a rack of ribs and a few drinks to share with my friend. I was hesitant and not hopeful, but once I got my food I was in AWE!!! The BEST ribs I have ever had. They were juicy, melted right off the bone and so inexpensive for how much I got. I will forever tell people to come to Nunu’s when they are in San Diego. Hands down amazing location for good eats. I can’t believe I almost left because of the vibe of the area at night. I’ll come to San Diego just to eat here!
