Excellent BBQ and sides.  Although there is not a specific vegetarian entree, the mac and cheese starter (minus the bacon) plus the cauliflower appetizer made a great vegetarian meal.  Service was fast and very friendly. Although we opted for inside seating, the outdoor dining area with flame heaters was very inviting.

The service was great, and they had a nice little selection of tap beers. I had the sticky ribs and 6oz brisket (with Smokeyard BBQ sauce) with mashed sweet potatoes. Both meats had fantastic flavor, but were just a touch dry. I know how hard it can be to keep BBQ moist all day if you do an overnight smoke, and I'm a little more picky than most when it comes to my 'cue. All in all, I'd definitely go back again, and it's worth a stop if you're nearby.

Came here for a group outing and the food is delicious! For starters, we ordered asparagus, brussel sprouts, and cornbread. As for the entree, I ordered pulled pork in a tomato-basil wrap with a side of mashed potato (lunch special). The wrap is packed with meat and the dish is delicious! The service is amazing and the servers are super friendly. It's weird how it's not packed, but then again we went in the afternoon in the middle of the week. Definitely a place I'd recommend! I know I'll be coming back and trying their burgers.

Came here for just a drink with friends and ended up ordering some appetizers after looking at the menu, so we ordered Wings, Brussel Sprouts, Rock Shrimp, Mac and Cheese. Everything was amazing! We even ordered a second round of the Brussel Sprouts and Rock Shrimp. The staff was also very friendly and very attentive. I would really recommend this place. If you ever find yourself hungry or in need of a break while shopping, make sure to stop by. You will not be disappointed!

We stopped by today with a party of 5 + 1 toddler. The staff was great and very accommodating! If you like old fashions, get the maple old fashion with toasted marshmallows, this drink is awesome, get it!!! For food, we wanted to try everything so we all shared appetizers! - Wings were amazing! I really liked the peri peri sauce (spicy) and the sweet chili bbq! - Their Brussel sprouts were some of the best I’ve ever had! Crispy but soft and amazing flavor! A must order every time!!! - The cornbread was amazing! Soft and crumbly not not dry. The butter is heavenly! - The Rock Shrimp were surprising! I don’t typically order shrimp when I go out but it was similar to popcorn shrimp with a delicious sauce on the outside. - Mac and Cheese lovers rejoice! The mac is cheesy and creamy and everything you’d want when ordering mac and cheese! There’s breadcrumb type crisp on top and jalapeños inside! If you’re at the mall, or just hungry for great food, make sure to give Smokeyard a try! You won’t be disappointed!!!

You probably wouldn’t come across Smokeyard just walking around the UTC Mall since it’s a little bit hidden, but take my advice and go find it! Being that there aren’t tons of places to get BBQ in San Diego, I was excited to find this one and even more excited once I tried the food and drinks. I had the ribs (unfortunately i forgot to take a pic), rock shrimp, wings, Brussels sprouts, corn bread, cauliflower and Mac n cheese. I couldn’t have been happier. Everything was incredible. The flavors were amazing, the food was cooked perfectly, the service was great and the setting was perfect. If you haven’t heard of Smokeyard or have just never been, do yourself a favor and go! It’s one of those places that you’ll keep going back to. I forgot to mention, the drinks are great! The setting is great to even just go grab a cocktail with friends.

The Smokehouse has that nice chophouse feel to it, elegant industrial style and very open with lots of natural light. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, explained all good items and accommodated our special needs including a well diversed gluten free menu. Food was excellent, tender and flavorful and exceptionally plated. Service was spot on, never lacking and made our time there enjoyable. Food choices included brussel sprouts & chard cauliflower, bbq tri tip sandwich, spicy chicken sandwich, and classic bacon burger. Every one was very satisfied. Deserts included Apple Cobbler, the donuts, and brownie. Again - excellent! I'm not a big red meat eater but when I do I'll be coming back here.

The restaurant is excellent. The BBQ is delicious and their side of cornbread with honey butter is the best cornbread I have ever had. You could make a meal out of just their cornbread. Their rock shrimp appetizer is amazing as well. The restaurant itself also has a great atmosphere and our waitress was very nice. I got a chance to meet the owner and he is a super chill and nice UCSD alumnus.

We absolutely loved this restaurant! We sat on the patio which had a very cool atmosphere. We started with the pulled pork cornbread which was amazing! Then we had the pulled pork sandwich and ribs and quarter chicken combo for dinner. The chicken and ribs were super tender one of the best we've ever had. After dinner we had the apple cobbler which was also delicious. The service was very great as well, Bree was our server and she was awesome with our kids. The owner is also super friendly. We even asked him if he had plans to open one in our town. This is a must see in San Diego for dinner!
