Large variety of cooked seafood and sushi items. They have a tepanyaki grill made to order noodles. Delicious desserts. The best Seafood buffet in town. .
The place can get crowded during lunchtime. Very reasonable price per person.

Amazing food, Amazing staff, but it was crowded today. Mostly businesses celebrating holidays I'm guessing.

I love their weekday lunch special 17.50 Monday through Friday 11-3. Great selection great value. I love the sushi selection, definitely superior to any grocery store selection by far. I love the grill they have too, they can do fresh stir fry. They have the 3 major food groups covered; chicken, pork and beef. Then a little something extra. Pretty much everything except the orange chicken is good 👍

This was my first dining experience at Natsumi Sushi & Seafood Buffet. Actually, I was one of many guests at a funeral repast. We were all dressed mostly in black with sad faces when we entered, but after such a fabulous buffet and the compassionate customer service, there was a smile on each face and good fellowship in each heart when we left!
Although there were 30+ dishes from which to eat, I personally enjoyed the fresh vegetables, noodles, dumplings, plantain, mushrooms, spring roll, pork chop, chicken, tempura carrots, and ice cream! 🙂
Although we will always grieve the loss of a much-loved relative, the extravagant, post-funeral meal complete with the godly love flowing from person to person during this time, will be a treasured memory for many years to come! Many thanks to the Natsumi Buffet owner and staffl!

They offer a variety of food, especially sushi. The only issue is the bathrooms. For the amount of people seated, 3 stalls is not enough!

Decent buffet with reasonable price. Had dinner there. $30 per person. I am surprised that they even have chocolate fountain for marshmallows. The squirrel fish is really good.

08/26/2023: Came back today to try some of the entrées only served during their dinner menu (Sirloin Steak, Crab Legs, Coconut Shrimp, Raw Oysters, etc). I'm personally not a fan of raw oysters, so I skipped those. But I did order a steak, sampled their Coconut Shrimp, and had a plateful of crab legs. The steak was slightly below average due to the thin cut and lack of seasoning. The shrimp was excellent! The crab legs were served cold (I love them regardless), but I had quite a challenge cracking the shells, even though they were cut. They shells were large and full of crabmeat, but twice the thickness as what I typically see at other restaurants, making them more difficult to break or pry apart. Next time, I'll bring my own kitchen tools like scissors or pliers...something! (LOL!) Overall, the dinner price for these added entrées are worth it!
04/20/2023: Stopped in to sample their lunch menu in consideration for an upcoming reservation for a large group event that would take place on a Friday. Dined at their establishment at the peak of their lunch hour on a Friday to review their wait times, seating accommodations, noise levels, variety of entrées, taste, quantity of food depletion and speed of replenishment. In consideration that a good number of diners were here for a working lunchbreak, the restaurant filled quickly within the first 30 minutes of opening and variety of popular sushi dishes and hot entrees were nearly picked out. Staff were prompt, courteous, and performed their tasks seamlessly in seating patrons, serving refreshments, clearing tables, and refilling the entrée trays. Thank you for your excellence!

By far, the best ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET within 22 miles radius. I've been in a few places in La mesa and El cajon, but this one is much nicer and better in :
- Food quality
- Cleanliness
- Variety of dishes and recipes
- Staff services
Heads up, this place is packed during lunch hours.
The (workers) are very helpful and will try their best to seat you as fast as possible.
You can order a pot of tea.
VARIETY of foods.
A lot of meats.
A lot of vegetables
A lot of seafood.
Deep fried foods
Steamed foods
Sushi (Ok-ish)
Sweets
Salads
Soups
Ice cream at the corner.
Plenty of parking lots in the back.
A great deal for all you can eat restaurant.
Reasonable prices.

The BEST Sushi (for the price) in San Diego area! Every time I'm there, I crush over 40 pieces of sushi and then finish with some wings, shrimp, and then ice cream! This place has it all, and it's all good! 🤤☝🏻

Best buffet I've been to in such a long time. The food is always nice and fresh. The sushi is amazing! I didn't eat anything I didn't end up liking. The staff is quick to get dirty dishes off your table. Real ice cream as one of their deserts!!!! Not the generic frozen yogurt buffets usually have. I'd give 10 stars if I could.
