Common Theory - San Diego - Photo album

What a well hidden gem. This hideaway is in a shopping venue and you have no idea it existed if you didn't ask for it. The service is always good and the cocktail menu is fantastic. Not only do the drinks look good but they are delicious 😋. Unfortunately we only had a cocktail we didn't try the food
Have enjoyed the beer flights and food which has changed over the years. I appreciate they keep several sour options on tap. Indoor and outdoor seating. Large with lots of seating options. Always clean.
Common Theory is always a pretty good time, even if the food is a bit pricey. They have a massive beer selection that also includes some ciders and seltzers. The food is pretty good overall, especially the appetizers, though I do have to take a star off just due to the somewhat unreasonable pricing.
I came in for lunch with a group of colleagues on Halloween and we had the best time! The staff is super friendly. The ambiance was lively, but not crazy or overpowering! Just chill and fun. I had the Wagyu Cheeseburger and fries, and everything was delicious! Extra props for being so cutely deco
Went on a cloudy Sunday as soon as they opened. Quite empty which was fine with me. Lots of indoor seating for the cooler March days, and a good selection of local craft beer. Big food selection; shared the Thai Chicken Flatbread wasn't bad, though my foodie friend thought it was a little expensive
Very standard bar in town, lot of great tasting cocktails and a pretty big selection of drafts or anything else! The food was above average and big in serving besides the pretzel bites.
Stopped in for lunch and a beer. Had the house salad with avocado. The house dressing and strawberries really made the meal. Their beer selection was great - a good mix of lagers, ales, sours, and ciders.
Absolutely delicious Asian fusion options to your taste! Food for our large group of 11 came out very quickly and all at once. There are a Wide variety of options for any ones taste. Pictured in the review is a kimchi fried rice with smoked tri tip
It's a fun place to hang out with friends. A lot of interesting craft beers to choose from. Good amount of different food options as well. The staff didn't seem super friendly while we were there but it could be an one off kind of thing. Price is a little on the higher end given what it is. Overall
Great service! Friendly. Reasonable happy hour! Yum appetizers. Cool atmosphere! Will definitely go back.
Dog friendly inside and outside seating! The menu options are limited, but everything is so flavorful that you cannot go wrong with any choice. Rotating tap drink choices, so be prepared to find a drink you like, and you may not see it again the next time. Still plenty of drink choices though with
Loved this place! It was airy and full of life when I came in. Truthfully I was coming here for the secret speakeasy that they have, but they were completely booked up. We got the pork belly Mac and the cauliflower. Both were amazing! Flavorful, crunchy and soft! Perfectly seasoned and balanced. It
Hidden inside Common Theory is the Realm of the 52 Remedies, although it's not too hidden, just look left when entering. Expect a hefty tab for the purposes of dining in an eclectic interior designed space.
Solid gastropub experience. The decor had a homey feel, the staff were helpful and friendly, the beer selection was vast and excellent variety, and the food options were on point. Cali creamin and belching beaver pb stout are always great beers to come home to.
This place is really great, been coming here for quite a few years. Always an interesting selection of beers on tap with friendly staff. Spacious inside and chill atmosphere. It's tough to snag parking but you can find a spot on the streets nearby. Food is good and service is great.
We sat at the bar. Good beer selection, especially their rare bottles. Nice ambience. Didn’t try any food, however.
A very cool sport bar style new American restaurant with Asian food inspirations. We came to their speaking easy bar before - 52 Remedies which we really loved their drinks, as well as foods. And this time, we tried this sport bar. We came for Sunday lunch and surprisingly it didn’t have a lot of pe
I’ve heard so many good things about this place so we decided to try it out on a Saturday night. I made reservation but arrived early and they were able to accommodate us right away. We ordered Buffalo cauliflower, fried calamari, pork sisig bowl, Szechuan hot chicken sandwich and roasted pear flatb
