Busy post Christmas dining. My family did take out. Everything we ordered was good from the Dumpling & wonton egg noddle soup, crispy chicken to the Chinese brocoli in oyster sauce. I think the crispy chicken came with the steamed rice.

Parking: Parking plaza is a hit or miss. Sometimes overly crowded and must park in neighborhood/streets and times the lot has plenty of spaces Atmosphere: Fast pace dine in experience Service: Welcoming new ownership Food: Won ton: Amazing same taste as previous owners recipe. Goes perfect with the Chinese donut. They have the best Won Ton soup around. Seafood Chow Fun: Love all the fresh ingredients but slightly bland to me. Supports Military: No Discount Overall: I wanted to compare the food and experience to the nostalgic feeling coming here for many years and would like to say it still feels the same. The service does seemed a bit more modern than how it was traditionally then.

Consistent my favorite soup restaurant in SD. Recently changed owners but the menu is more or less the same. Highly recommend.

Do not allow the visual of the location to fool you.. when my husband first brought me there. The first thing that came to mind was “ghetto”!!!! But to my surprise the food was so delicious. I really thought I was not going to like anything, and just have water because I am VERY picky eater. Now, we go weekly and order the salten shrimp, Chow mein and beef steak. Worth the drive!!

Don't let the crazy parking lot and funky smell scare you. This place has some absolutely amazing food. The ladies who work here provide friendly and welcoming service. I've tried several things over the years that have all been excellent but ultimately me and my partner have gotten to where we don't need a menu, we sit down and order bbq pork fried rice to share and 2 orders of the crispy chicken leg (which is actually 2 legs and thigh). The BBQ pork fried rice is some of (if not the) best in San Diego, just a dash of soy sauce, some chili oil, and some pickled Serrano peppers mixed into mine and it's elevated to heavenly levels of flavor 🤌. 2 crispy chicken leg orders, bbq pork fried rice, and one diet coke came out to around $32 with tip and we walk out very full and my gf takes home part of the chicken thigh usually (it'd delicious cold too!). If you need your restaurants to look new and spotless with no character or wear n tear...this isn't your place. If you want delicious chinese food with incredible flavors and textures, and the added vibe of various members of staff and their friends sitting around playing cards in the middle of the restaurant? This is your place.

Great food, the combination wonton egg noodle soup is my go-to comfort food. Get take out if possible because this parking area is the worst in all of San Diego.

We ordered combination fried rice, walnut shrimp, fresh beef steak, pepper salty pork slice, and crispy chicken leg. We were very skeptical when we first went in because the restaurant floor was very dirty, but surprisingly, the food was really good. Next time, we will try noodles.

I use to eat here all the time old place. I love it but the parking sucks. They got one my to go order wrong but was still pretty good. The Chinese donut kind of small and slightly over cooked the Huang thanh is really good.

Great place for Chinese style Vietnamese food! The noodles are all so good. The duck was sooo good! Chinese donut were hot and Crispy although the porridge could have been richer. Its a bit hard to find parking though, better car pool.
