Denny's

It's your average Denny's. However, let me add that the food never sucks here. Before COVID I used to come after bar close, food didn't suck then either. Since the pandemic I've gotten here between 7 and 11. I've never had to complain to the staff, even though they're busy I don't wait more than 2-5 minutes to be seated and they always come back to check at least once. Most of the time I'm there, I get this one waitress who is always really nice. I don't remember her name but she's so sweet, she calls everyone baby and it would normally annoy me but she's that sweet lady that has a vibe that gives you that feeling like going home to Mom's or Grandma's house. It sounds over the top but she's just a nice lady who's nice to her guests, serves food and gets out of your hair. I love her, I hope she doesn't quit.

I stop by here on my lunch breaks pretty often on my long drives to San Diego for work. Servers are super sweet and kind. The food is prepared very well. Not outstanding like fine dining but more like that comfort dinner food. I miss their birthday cake batter shake the most though. That is my favorite flavor. The brisket dishes are pretty darn good but I like their Grand Slams or their patty melts. Atmosphere is relatively classy and clean and they decorate for the holidays. Honestly that brightens up my day after a long drive on the road. Hope the review helps and that all y'all have a good day.

Conveniently located near the 163 Fwy off the Clairemont Mesa Blvd exit on Kearny Villa Rd. next to Arco Gas. We were craving a good dinner meal after a long day event at the Pechanga Arena. We were immediately greeted and seated as we entered. I had their 'Meaty Melt with fries', and my husband had their 'Crazy Spicy Skillet and Eggs.' Everything tasted fresh with that authentic Denny's flavor. For dessert, I had their 'Apple Crisp', so satisfying. Shout out to our server 'Nooshi' who was extremely attentive and helpful with the menu. She is the best server I've ever experienced in every aspect. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated for the season. Overall, we had an amazing dinner experience at this Denny's and will definitely return.

We had the BEST waiter, he was patient, he actually paid attention to us, he suggested plates based on our Conversation, and was trying to give us the best deal possible. He made the best milkshakes. Once we were just about done eating stuffed to the brim he's brings us water without asking. He sealed the deal! He was awesome

Haven’t been to a diner, or dive in 10 years. I forgot how good it is, we ordered the mac & cheese sirloin steak with onion rings on top, cinnamon bun pancake with frosting, so good and hashbrowns, and two sunny side up eggs. And a regular grand slam, scrambled eggs, and regular bacon. It was delicious!

I don’t very often frequent Denny’s, but this was an exception due to the holiday and late night cravings. The food was nothing to call home about, but it was satisfying enough, and the price point was great, of course, as usual. How was released it out about this particular experience with the customer service, it was beyond exceptional. I think her name was Tonya or maybe Tina from Brazil she was just over-the-top, friendly and hospitable, especially with my children and this was just the crème de la crème. And it’s not like it was a very slow night where she had no customers to tend to. I know that she was very nice to everybody and it just seem like she would go out of her way to make sure patrons had a good experience and I wish to see more of this in the world today.
