Beach Sweets

Beach Sweets is a great candy shop on Newport, right next to Hodad’s. To me, the shop is mash-up of See’s and The Candy Factory, with some creative items mixed in. I like the honeycombs, salted caramels, taffy, and chocolate-covered Rice Krispies the most. It’s worth popping in and paying a visit when you’ve got a sweet craving. Staff are really friendly and helpful!

Just like an old fashioned candy shop with beautiful and unusual creations. Also, chocolate covered bacon!!! Too much emphasis on taffy and jelly bellies, but outstanding chocolate ideas - like the dipped oreo pops and sea creature based chocolates. Highly recommended little place, tucked in beside Hodads's in the downtown of Oceanbeach. Seriously, it's a block to the shore. :-)

Excellent candy selection, many hand made quality candy creations as well As old the classic favorites. Recommend this place if you're in "trouble" or want to confirm that you really love your significant other not just for their looks.... Like me when I went here. Like really people? I'm a guy and I can say no to sweets, but holy hell you get a girl in a candy store you may as well walk the f out cuz you're not getting out of there without buying something. Would I go back ? Certainly. Excellent selection and even better favors. Plus the fatter I get my Gf the less ill feel bad about dumping her a**. YAy for my metabolism and commitment issues. Boo for eve for eating the apple and cursing the males dream to have a beautiful wife for life.
