Cardamom - San Diego - Photo album

If it's breakfast you're looking for, you better come quick because the new owners are just about to rebrand the establishment as an Italian dinner place. This will be my most-quickly-obsolete review ever. For now, they have outstanding breakfasts including good rosemary potatoes. I like the breakfa
Came here for their famous sticky buns and am very happy to report that everything we ordered was heavenly! will have to go back to try their other pastries and dishes.
North park omelet was good. I think the potatoes were cut too big. Some of the of the potatoes were hard and some were mushy. Should cut them smaller. Overall pretty good.
Excellent service. Every request was graciously satisfied. Great place to catch up with friends. We were never rushed. We were checked on during our meal to be certain we didn't need anything. Great place for a small meeting. Portion are very generous and can be shared. We all enjoyed our breakfast.
The coconut Chia seed pudding with blueberry and strawberry is delicioso! Friendly customer service. I'll be back!
Love this place. Breakfast is delicious! On weekends there can be a little wait during prime breakfast/brunch hours. And their bakery items are great. Their English muffins are so Good! I never really thought very much if English muffins until I had theirs. Yum!
Man I love this place. The service is great, the bread is fresh baked, and the coffee is perfect. The crowd is definitely neighborhood oriented. You won't find incredibly exciting offerings like you would at breakfast republic, or the mission, but the food is solid, inexpensive, with the local crowd
My wife and I ate here twice while we were on a 4-day stay in San Diego. I would drive a significant distance to eat here again. Wonderful breakfasts. She had the "Dragon Burrito". I had the Breakfast Croissant. Second day she had the Cardamom French Toast and I had the Chorizo Omelette. All 4
A great bakery and cafe that´s convenient, reasonably priced, friendly, and delicious. They have a variety of pastries and specialty breads that are home-made. They serve excellent salads and sandwiches too. There´s a small parking lot in the back, but many of the spaces are for denizens of the n
I love the atmosphere and the food here. A little hole-in-the-wall cafe with delicious food at the right price, especially compared to the other hipster breakfast joints in North Park. I've never had better pancakes or chicken salad in San Diego, and I am a life-long customer!
The croissants and pastries are out of this world! They have tons of great an interesting flavors, both sweet and savory. If you go more for the sweets, the almond croissant is a must. You can also special order pastries and breads for meetings, parties, or holidays. They also have great breakfasts a
This is my standard go-to breakfast spot. Really solid food, great coffee, tea, and people. The patio is dog friendly, but has you may expect a wait for seating during weekend breakfast times. Oh, and they don't have booze, so don't plan on mimosas here!
Warm cozy place with delicious food. Their french toast is simply amazing! For a small space they they have a big variety. Their goat cheese croissant is heaven on earth. Dog friendly patio for those mornings you and your fur family want to take a walk and eat some breakfast outside.
This morning I had a simple breakfast - it was two eggs over medium with the potatoes and English muffin. the quick story is Why only 4 stars not 5 - because my potatoes and eggs were on the cold side. the English muffin was more of a small bun cut in half than an actual English muffin. the reason w
This gem of a bakery is a must stop in North Park! Their croissants are the stuff dreams are made of.... flaky, buttery dreams. Just the smell of bread baking and rosemary potatoes cooking is enough to inspire sonnets. Reasonably priced menu with friendly service.
Overcooked, flat eggs on my omelete (turn that heat down), no sausage or ham on a Sunday, then charged extra for bacon instead. Upholstery was repaired with duct tape (Fabric is $5/yard at Walmart, no excuse.) Took my wife there for the first time. She had to sit on the duct tape. Embarrassing. Fo
Jo was a firm favorite and a must go to. Miss her superior croissants, I still crave her bliss cakes and my dogs miss her bacon! She worked hard and her hospitality was genuine - Cardamon will be missed, but now she can enjoy life!!!
