Beerfish

I was craving pub style fish and chips recently. Ordered some at a place close and they were good, but not what I was wanting. They seemed to try making them healthier, which isn't what I was going for. The fish and chips at Beerfish were exactly what I wanted. Heavily battered, very crispy, tasty fish and well-seasoned fries. They have a good selection of beers too. We sat out on the patio and enjoyed people watching and the beautiful San Diego weather. The staff was great. Friendly, helpful with beer suggestions and very attentive.

Local place that's very relaxed with lots of outdoor covered seating and indoor seating for those rare times when San Diego weather is not perfect. The fish and chips is awesome!!! Super fresh food at reasonable bar prices. Coder they have is amazing and a large assortment of beers to choose from.

Great choices for both beer and fish! While the fish tacos are somewhat underwhelming compared to the San Diego competition., their battered fish and chips were on point. Their house chowder fries were covered in copious amounts of bacon and chowder was heavy but a guilty pleasure to indulge with friends... Or by yourself if you like the calories.
