Izakaya Pacific Beach - San Diego - Photo album

Traveled from Phx to Pacific Beach for vacation and we ate at Izakaya. The food here is awesome! I ordered the Izakaya Deluxe Ramen with Asahi beer and it was, hands down, the best broth and ingredients I've ever tasted. The chef even brought my order to the table. Absolutely delicious! Great s
The Ramen was great! The pork belly was super tender, basically melted in your mouth. We also really enjoyed the garlic edamame, it was perfectly seasoned! The service was fast and friendly, and the food is reasonably priced given how close it is to the beach.
Food was amazing! So authentic and loaded with lots of flavor 👌 I Ordered the Hot Chicken Udon soup. Will be going back and the prices are awesome!!!! Friendly staff and the head Chef is very personable with all the guests. Beyond five stars it deserves a 10!!!!!
The sushi and service were both top notch. We ordered several rounds of different drinks and food items and were not disappointed. We even had a custom order that the restaurant accommodated happily. My favorite was the Ikura with raw quail egg on top. Ikura is a type of fish roe that is characteriz
Its being 3 years since I left San Diego, finally I had a chance to visit Izakaya PB! Ramens, Sushi Rolls, Udons, all we tried were authentic Japanese cuisines with very creative ideas bringing them to the next level by the master chef. So delicious. I highly recommend the restaurant.
Typically, LA & OC have the best food places to eat. I know this because I’m a LA native & I cruise OC a lot to surf & what not. I’ve found some good Japanese restaurants around SD but nothing compares to LA & OC. And then we tried this place. By far this is best ramen I’ve tasted in a long time for
Amazing dining experience had the Brussel Sprout tempura this dish was out of this world! My friends ordered goyza which wAs wonderful a real dining experience! Then we ordered ramen with curry and udon noodles! The best part was meeting chef Rae and talking with him after which he surprised us with
Best ramen house in San Diego!!!!! I haven't had a bad meal here ever!!! The entire staff from the owners to the servers are awesome and extremely friendly. If you love ramen this should be your only stop!!
The ramen and udon are wonderful. The broth is perfect, especially on the udon. Be sure to try their Asahi beer on tap, it's the only light beer I've ever liked. But if you prefer a sweet cocktail, try the sparkling white peach jelly. It tickles your tongue!
I started going here about a year ago and am a huge fan. Being so close to the beach its always tempting to sit outside, but every time ive sat inside ive had a much better experience. The staff is always friendly and willing to teach a thing or 2 about japanese cuisine. I even got to meet the he
Came here for dinner with a number of friends on a friday night. They close at 10pm but were able to seat a party of 8 at 9:30 and were prompt and fast with their service. They have a mix of sushi rolls and ramen with vegetarian options as well so it was a good options for a mixed group of eaters.
We had to compare the new "ramen house" ( Jinya ramen bar) to our all time favorite ramen spot (izakaya). They have nothing on you!!! It's very generic and bland. Although we cheated on Izakaya, it just goes to show that they are still the most authentic ramen restaurant in San Diego
Great ramen that doesn't leave you feeling heavy. Broth and noodles are perfect! I can't get enough of this place! Service is, friendly and fast. Come hungry. Leave satisfied.
I havn't yet had the chance to try everything Izakaya has to offer, and I'm not sure I ever will because this Japanese spot has all sorts of goodies you won't find any place else. This is the only spot with ramen in Pacific Beach too! So far, they've won my heart with the delicious takoyaki (a deep
