This place is really good. Their service is top notch. The people here are very generous with their portions. I personally got Monster Bandala as a pollo asada version and it tasted like a bomb. Also their roll taquitos are really good. I am really satisfied trying out this place for the first time. Just keep in mind when coming here their seating is outside which isn't a problem for me. There are a few tables that you can sit in if you want to dine in.

Randomly found this spot. Low key area with friendly staff and fast service. I order a bean and chesse burrito which was good. Some Mexican places are a hit or miss but there's have 2 kinds of chesse. White and yellow. They also have great rice and I am really picky about my rice. My only issue is the prices are bit higher than my usual places. So I won't be going out of my way.

One of the highlights of our trip. I had the tacos and they were huge and amazing and the homemade corn tortillas were great. The rest of our group had burritos and they all said they were amazing. They do not have many tables to eat at but the bar next door will let you in with food if you buy a drink. The bar next door is a cool little hole in the wall.

Some of the best Mexican food that you can get within America. I'm from the East Coast and went over to mission Beach to visit a friend. When I got there he recommended Sara's and I could not have been happier with my choice. I ate there a few days but definitely my favorite selection was Michelle's burrito. There is a unique menu with plenty of options for anyone. Without a doubt I would definitely recommend getting at least one churro if you're going to stop by here and get anything.

Came over here for breakfast (my first California burrito) and this place was unreal. We ended up getting the Machaca for breakfast with a hot sauce and it was a 20 out of 10. Toto came out and had a very nice conversation with us, welcoming us to California and sharing his story. This guy has some serious talent and has a very bright future. I’ve eaten many Mexican breakfasts and this is was by far my favorite. I would absolutely recommend this place and will definitely be back. Thank you again for the amazing experience, wishing you all the best and much success!!

The food was good. The shredded chicken has some good flavor. I ordered the 2 burrito combo plate. I was thinking they would be small burrito 🌯. They were really good portions. They don't cheat you on portion size. Their Pico was so fresh.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Sara's Mexican Food in Mission Beach, San Diego, and I am still on cloud nine from the mouthwatering experience I had there. This hidden gem deserves all the praise and recognition it can get, especially for their remarkable Carne Asada and the exceptional service provided by an extraordinary Mexican fellow named Axel. Let's start with the star of the show: the Carne Asada. It's nothing short of perfection. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, with tender, succulent beef marinated to absolute perfection. The meat was cooked to just the right level of smokiness, and the seasoning was a delicate balance of spices that danced on my taste buds. Every taco I devoured was a tantalizing adventure that left me craving more. Now, let me tell you about Axel. From the moment I walked up to the window, I was greeted with the warmest smile and genuine enthusiasm. Axel's passion for his craft is infectious, and it's evident in the way he and his team meticulously prepare each meal. His attention to detail is unmatched, and he takes the time to ensure that every customer is satisfied. Axel's friendly nature and genuine interest in making your dining experience memorable are truly remarkable. The ambiance at Sara's Mexican Food is lively and inviting. The vibrant colors, lively music, and authentic streetside décor transport you to the heart of Mexico. Whether you choose to dine in or take your tacos to go, you'll be enveloped in an atmosphere that adds to the overall charm of this taco haven. In addition to their outstanding Carne Asada, Sara's Mexican Food offers a wide variety of mouthwatering options. The menu features an array of traditional Mexican dishes, including flavorful tacos, tantalizing burritos, and zesty salsas. Each item is crafted with care, using fresh ingredients that elevate the flavors to new heights. The prices at Sara's Mexican Food are beyond reasonable, considering the quality and taste they deliver. You'll be pleasantly surprised at the generous portions and the affordability of the menu items. It's a perfect spot for both a quick bite and a hearty meal. If you're a taco enthusiast like me, Sara's Mexican Food is an absolute must-visit in Mission Beach, San Diego. The unforgettable Carne Asada alone is worth the trip, but the exceptional service from Axel and the inviting atmosphere make it an experience you'll cherish. I can't recommend this place enough. Prepare your taste buds for an explosion of flavors and indulge in the culinary delight that awaits you at Sara's Mexican Food! Gracias Axel!
