Cold Stone Creamery

Everytime we stay at the hotel right above Cold Stone, we always come here. Never have we been dissapointed! Super clean establishment. Yes the lines are long but hey, It's Cold Stone! The staff is always friendly and patient, specially to my 3 Boys. There was a promotion through Nintendo Switch and there were some Nintendo Figurines on display, my oldest son asked how to get them. Unfortunately they were not For Sale, a employee took them as display. This employee went above and beyond to adversite for the promotion...who does that?! Super awesome! Overall no complains and we been visiting for a little over 3 yrs(twice a yr) 👍🏼

So I'm walking off the food coma I'm in after just finishing they got to have it size peanut butter cup perfection made by TJ I'm not sure if he is the boss or not but he defined tonight what it truly mean to be "like a boss". This ice cream masher took his time mashing in the extra pb & pb cups till when the last mash was completed and there stood what I can only describe as passing perfection into a realm of dare I say... God like status! So cold stone I don't know this guy but he's already acting like a boss. you should make him one. Or at least give him a sizable raise. The dude deserves it and I don't think there is anyone who would disagree after the full fat happy I'm feeling right now made its way thru their taste buds. Thank you TJ thank you cold stone. You guys are awesome sauce!

We visited this place during our last San Diego tour in November 2018. It’s a small ice cream shop in Old Town, San Diego. There were many flavors and tons of toppings. There were nonfat flavors as well. We didn’t notice any seating arrangement inside of this shop. The ice cream was delicious and the staff was friendly. However, we didn’t see any sample cups available and that was unfortunate. The price was a bit higher.

Hats off to this place! Not only do they have really good ice cream, but they gave my freshly-graduated Marine free scoops! He was overjoyed and very appreciative for this. Too bad he couldn't take it with him. Seriously a great place to stop for something cold on a hot day. The flavours are super tasty too.

My girlfriend and me stopped by after dinner at a Mexican restaurant down the street because the creamery was advertised on the brochure of the old town trolley tour. We were served by a very friendly and joyous lady. Both my girlfriend and me chose the smallest size which was still more than enough in my eyes. The ice cream itself was fantastic and we will gladly stop by again if we are in the area again.

This is a tiny corner location, so there are no seats inside the building. They do have a few outdoor benches you can use, though. The employee was very nice and she gave a very generous portion of ice cream even though we both ordered the smallest size available ("Like it"). The store is clean and well kept. Great spot for a quick treat if you're exploring Old Town.
