Everytime we stay at the hotel right above Cold Stone, we always come here. Never have we been dissapointed! Super clean establishment. Yes the lines are long but hey, It's Cold Stone! The staff is always friendly and patient, specially to my 3 Boys. There was a promotion through Nintendo Switch and there were some Nintendo Figurines on display, my oldest son asked how to get them. Unfortunately they were not For Sale, a employee took them as display. This employee went above and beyond to adversite for the promotion...who does that?! Super awesome!
Overall no complains and we been visiting for a little over 3 yrs(twice a yr) 👍🏼
Great Ice cream! Not crowded, lack of condiments, but for the most part no complaints. You have to pick perfect combinations. Chocolate there is too strong. But the coffee, and pistachio flavors are amazing! Love the waffle cones. Employees were nice and greeted us.
This is a tiny corner location, so there are no seats inside the building. They do have a few outdoor benches you can use, though. The employee was very nice and she gave a very generous portion of ice cream even though we both ordered the smallest size available ("Like it"). The store is clean and well kept. Great spot for a quick treat if you're exploring Old Town.
We visited this place during our last San Diego tour in November 2018. It’s a small ice cream shop in Old Town, San Diego. There were many flavors and tons of toppings. There were nonfat flavors as well. We didn’t notice any seating arrangement inside of this shop. The ice cream was delicious and the staff was friendly. However, we didn’t see any sample cups available and that was unfortunate. The price was a bit higher.
My girlfriend and me stopped by after dinner at a Mexican restaurant down the street because the creamery was advertised on the brochure of the old town trolley tour. We were served by a very friendly and joyous lady. Both my girlfriend and me chose the smallest size which was still more than enough in my eyes. The ice cream itself was fantastic and we will gladly stop by again if we are in the area again.
Hats off to this place! Not only do they have really good ice cream, but they gave my freshly-graduated Marine free scoops! He was overjoyed and very appreciative for this. Too bad he couldn't take it with him. Seriously a great place to stop for something cold on a hot day. The flavours are super tasty too.
It was the first time I'd visited this Cold Stone location and I was delighted with the friendly and helpful service. The ice cream was absolutely delicious!!! I had a large waffle cone/cup with coffee ice cream and a Butterfinger mix-in, which was really decadent, yet not too sweet. The shop was clean and is in a perfect location(Old Town) for strolling around while enjoying some wonderful ice cream.

I bought a small ice cream cake for my son's birthday. Everyone was very polite, they were able to have it for me the next day AND it was the most delicious cake we've ever had and we will never have cake with no ice cream ever again. Thanks!
Cold Stone Creamery is delicious. The staff here is friendly and quick. They don't have much in the way of seating--outdoor only--and it gets taken up by people who aren't customers.
