Hoboken Pizza & Beer Joint

We were going to eat at The Sandbox but they are over 21 after 7 PM and we had teenagers with us. Sandbox did us a favor because we discovered this place. Fantastic pizza. Great sandwiches. The Stromboli was the best we've had in a long time. The garlic bread was really good as well. Big portions at this place for sure. Show up hungry!

Coming from New Haven, Ct and having, in my opinion the best selection of pizza restaurants around, Hoboken did not disappoint. Thin crust, cooked to perfection and well done, as requested. Toppings were not skimpy and flavor was, "Chef's Kiss." It was great to have the flavors of home. As far as the Atmosphere. Well it is a JOINT.. booths definitely could use some TLC as they were a bit beat up looking. Bathrooms were clean! Music was fun, 60-70's R&B playing through the speakers and TV's had the Baseball games playing...A definite PIZZA JOINT we will be back to.

I love it! It is my favorite place for slices. I used to go there like every day when I lived in Pacific Beach. It is the late night, lunch, or anytime slice place making delicious slices of pizza that are ready for you basically whenever you would like one, except when they are closed, because nobody is working. You will love it, I'm certain. Just so you know, they actually make the entire pizza. Then, they cut it into slices. If you want the whole pie, be my guest! It's like getting 6-8 slices all connected together. They don't mind at all. They will put the toppings on that you request. Then it is what we like to call 'personalized'. And expertly prepared. Then baked in their special pizza ovens. When it comes out, it is hot and ready and delicious. Do you wanna add some shakers of flavor? Like oregano or parmesan cheese? You can do that as well!
