Panera Bread

Great sandwiches, very friendly staff. One star off for the meager meat in my steak and cheddar sandwich. After i opened and evened out the distribution of the meat that was clumped in a small pile a bit off center in the sandwich there was barely enough to almost put a single layer of thinly sliced meat across the open surface of the rather thick bun. Not a great balance of meat to bread, and not happy to have to shove my fingers into the wet cheesy inside of the sandwich to spread out the sandwich contents. Update '23Oct: it seems they paid attention... the meat in my sandwich has been sufficient for full coverage and spread reasonably well across the entire sandwich on my last 3 visits. They were 0 for 5 before, now they were 3 for 3... I'm upping the star count for that.

Food is always constant but portions are not. Sometimes portions are larger when done in vs. take out but food always tastes the same so there is no surprise. I live their sandwiches and soups and our daughter loves the green goddess salad (dressing is the best!) My favorite is the Fall menu, the cranberry walnut bagels are the best and the hot cocoa with chocolate chip marshmallows yum! Staff is always helpful and super nice. We prefer breakfast and lunch vs dinner. Great variety of food and beverage, something for everyone.
