This is a great bar to catch a sports game, but also they have a great California food menu with options like a surf and turf burrito and tostadas, which were the highlight of our outing. The bartender was very nice to us, paid attention to our dogs and asked if they needed anything, and was very attentive even though this is an order at the counter/bar type place. The free ice cold water was a bonus as well and very accessible. Would not hesitate to go there again whether to catch a game or not!

Everything about this establishment is great. The staff is stellar, knowledgeable, attentive, but still friendly and laid back. The beer and liquor selection was excellent with plenty of local favorites. The seating was spacious indoor and outdoor to suit your preference. The music playlist was on point The menu was extensive and well priced for the high amount and quality of bar food offerings. Everyone with us really enjoyed the vibe, food, and drinks! A must visit in San Diego for sure!

An interesting bar located in/near Old Town that’s open late. I had to explain the Black & Tan, but it turned out nicely! I thought I got here late, but it turns out that it gets busier after 11pm. Even with a busy bar I never had to wait for a bartender to take my order. There is a nice outdoor area with lots of seating, but this is an unusually (so they tell me) cold March and the heaters weren’t cutting it, so I came inside. Other than a slightly wobbly table I would definitely recommend! Plus it seems to be the only place in Old Town to get a late night drink. 🤷‍♂️

The chino style fish tacos were amazing. Get them. They’re delicious but unexpectedly filling. My only complaint is that they’re a bit hard to eat because of the paper they’re served on. My husband got a pulled pork sandwich and the waiter recommended adding coleslaw to it. It also was absolutely amazing.

Nice little rustic venue tucked away in the outskirts of Old Town. Place your order at the bar then find a seat. Tasty food, small but good beer selection, reasonable rates, dog friendly with nice outdoor seating. TV's everywhere to watch your favorite sports! Fast and friendly service too. Overall a nice place to hang with friends or family. Mainly on street parking.
