Square Pizza Co

We've done two pizza tours in San Diego to find the best pizza in town and Square Pizza Co definitely takes number 1 for me. I LOVE pizza but I do not care for deep dish pizza until I came here. Their dough is crispy and fluffy at the same time. The two slices of pizzas we ordered were the Dodge and Regular pepperoni. The ingredients on the Dodge slice were balanced to perfection and the pepperoni was very good. I live by Alpine and the trip here was well worth the time and gas. This place is definitely a gem spot for pizza. I will definitely be back!!

Husband and I love Square Pizza. We both believe it's the best pizza we've ever had. Staff is great and very friendly. The ingredients are fresh and we love the deep dish style. It is one of our favorite date spots when we are out on our ride...we make sure to take a backpack for leftovers and frozen pizza to go. We love the Hellcat but we are working our way through the menu and enjoying it!

I dig into the pizza scene in each city I live and most places I go, on my pursuit to find the best pizza on the planet. Well folks, I think this is it! It’s the best pizza I’ve ever had. Absolutely incredible. Fluffy airy crust, with crispy edges baked in with Parmesan, the sauce is fresh and ingredients are proportionately and evenly placed on each slice. And the crispy pepperoni 🤤 This isn’t just a pizza pie you are ordering from here, it’s art!!! I feel this place is underrated and that there should be a line around the block to get in here. We actually came down to try our buddy’s sandwich shop next door (you’ll want to check that review out too!). Wow, what a pleasant surprise!!! I LOVE Pizza Rock in Vegas and when I walked I was overjoyed to see the same style Detroit Pizza. Damn, talk about crust creation… it was bottom crispy yet airy and fluffy with a cheese based border. Treated ourselves to one of their homemade chocolate chip cookies and that was just as good. Making this a regular stop and worth a special trip. After seeing a few YouTube videos about this place and rave reviews, my son and I had to try. Fred, the owner, was super friendly and best of all makes one great Detroit style pie! The bar was raised and was met. We wanted to try them all but didn't have the room. Of the many great pizza's in SD, this ranks as top 3. Crust by itself beats many other's complete pie. A new favorite and we will be back when visiting again.

From North of Boston. Walked in and saw the menu! Beach Pizza named after Northshore towns and cities ... Newburyport, Andover, Danvers, etc. What a shocker. Talked to the owner and he moved out here after working at Tripoli Pizza back home. Tried a series of slices and the Detroit style was the best among the very good options. Really can't go wrong here.
