ZoZo's is under new ownership and management, but still open and the new owner is improving the quality of menu items and renovating the restaurant, but you can still walk in or dine in or eat outside at the patio area near Mission Beach ⛱️ The calzones are old school, good portion, quality of toppings and the experience overall is a good one. Another friendship was made at Mission Beach area. Note: It's a little pricey, but the area is in a tourist area (But the quality and quantity) makes up for being a little pricey. Thanks ZoZo's for experience at your establishment!

Under new management, and it shows! I never gave this spot a second look after a poor experience a few years back, when I saw someone else took over; I had to give it another shot. Safe to say, I am stoked to have a new go-to pizza spot close to my home! The owner Cameron, introduced himself and was super friendly. I am not typically one for thin, single slice pizza joints, but I am a changed man now. PLUS, the mini calzones are an awesome addition. Definitely will be making regular visits here when I have pizza cravings

Went in for some pizza, got an experience meeting the new owner super positive guy with a great attitude and even better customer service! Even while busy hes greeting others and making sure everyone feels welcomed! All the food was excellent from the pizza to the mini calzones all in all definitely will be back !

I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment! It is now under new ownership, and the owner, Cameron, is an amazing guy. He is very friendly and provides outstanding customer service. I live in the area and love stopping by to chat with him. Cameron's family has over 40 years of experience in the pizza industry, and he has undertaken a lot of remodeling and interior upgrades, resulting in noticeable improvement of the place. The pizza has actually gotten better during each of my visits. On my most recent visit, the pizza was incredible. It is definitely some of the best pizza I've had in San Diego. I plan on coming here regularly and will recommend this place to my family and friends when they visit the area.

Was doing a day trip in San Diego and noticed this quaint pizza shop! It didn't disappoint! Ordered a slice and added a few toppings and it was amazing! Met Cameron the owner and his spirit and customer service made the slice even better! We got the slice to go and sat on the beach. Will be back after the first of the year!

Very friendly and decently good pizza! This isn't Bronx or Buena Forchetta or some high end pizzaria but it's good enough for a good time. The 28" Giant cut in squares is about 45-50 slices, perfect for a party. Pro tip for birthday parties or other group celebrating at the beach or Belmont Park, order the giant 28" they'll give you plates and napkins and BOOM you're serving 8 kids and 2 adults easily. Cooler of sodas/waters/adult bevs, a Costco box of assorted chips and you're celebrating for under $100 for 10 people.
