Havana 1920

Awesome spot! My husband and I stopped here for lunch today and we were not disappointed. The food and drinks were delicious (check out their daily specials and happy hour - great prices!). We were also impressed with the service as the staff was friendly and attentive - talking about you Regina, Taylor, and Nicole! Overall an awesome place and would highly recommend!

Super nice, friendly, attentive and fun staff. The Ceviche was fabulous. The ambience in the restaurant on 1st floor is super nice, and I enjoyed it very much that the restaurant is small and cozy. Live music seemed nice when I passed by the restaurant earlier, but unfortunately missed it due to our late dinner.

Outstanding Cuban place! Service is one on one! Greg has an amazing background in Rum, we had fun learning all the types! Caitlin, our server, was spot on, fun to chat with and brought out delicious food as recommended! We love the atmosphere, only thing missing is a dance floor! Can’t wait to come back!

A quaint Mexican/Cuban hole in the wall with amazing food and live music. The nice thing is you can order from both menus. The Cubano sandwich was exceptional with the pork and cheese melting in your mouth, honestly one of the best sandwiches you can get anywhere. Their tacos were good as well, though a bit on the pricy side. The musicians were awesome, felt like a traditional Latin eatery. Definitely recommend to come back and next time I'm getting 2 cubanos!

Had a reservation for 7 for a social work outing with my team and it was wonderful. Most of the group was skeptical about a West Coast Cuban restaurant and the outside of the building didn't help, but once you get in and seated upstairs - it is truly special. Great decor and authentic live music. The flavors for the meats were amazing, the fried plantains decadent. Members of our team enjoyed the wide variety of rums with a loud "Salud!' The service was attentive and the best we experienced in San Diego. Enjoy a little slice of Havana in San Diego.
