I am not 100% sure which one I got but the pork (I think it was the “carnitas”) definitely outplaying the other two with the shredde
The best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I had the asada nachos and pollo tacos with a pineapple drink and it was PERFECT. The meat is cooked and seasoned perfectly, the salsas are super fresh and flavorful, and the tortillas and chips were perfect. A great little place and the staff is super awesome.
Simple, delicious tacos in downtown San Diego. Inexpensive, double tortilla-wrapped ingredients meant I could sample a variety of different flavors. Don't let the almost literal hole-in-the-wall feel fool you. Take out was prepared fresh and fast. Looking forward to going back.
Excellent food, with breakfast options all day. I had the steak and egg breakfast burrito and my wife had the two taco meal. Limited, but available indoor seating.
Super friendly service! Ordered quesadillas, fish tacos and breakfast bowl, everything was fresh and tasty. Portions are huge. Very glad that found this small place!

My first night in San Diego, hungry after a long flight, Senor Taquero was the place I found. A rather humble locale, looking like any other cheap eatery, this place surprised me with really good food. I had a delicious, fresh and tasty fish wrap. Highly recomended!
Had the vegan mushroom taco and it was phenomenal. A little expensive but probably worth it. Would like to come here for dinner one day
I went to this place specifically looking for tripe, but they didn't have any. I ended up with tongue, which was well made (not a lot of seasoning, though). They were accommodating of dietary restrictions, which is impressive for a small establishment.
This is a hidden gem! I know a lot of people go to El Gordo which is great as well, but the lines can be a bit much at times. I found Senor Taquero because of long lines at El Gordo and I am so happy I did! Owner was so nice, food was so hot and fresh. I ended up getting like 7 tacos, couldn't stop

We were looking for a quick eats place by the Civic theater for pre show dinner, and wanted something within easy walking distance and quick. This place fit the bill. Not much of a sit down restaurant (maybe 10 seats) but food was great. Small salsa bar and reasonably priced for downtown.
