First time experience was not very good, it was EXTREMELY good!! Chips and salsa were good. Chicken enchilada was good, rice and beans were good. It was fun how they presented the rice in the chip bowl. It gave the plate some height, and made the presentation nice. Beef fajitas were good. The kids meal fried fish was good, they were light and crispy. Atmosphere was super fun, it was a gorgeous evening, and the space heater lamps turned on and felt nice against the small chill in the evening air. Flags and colored lights, as well as umbrellas made for a beautiful setting. Staff was friendly. We will definitely come back!

I went here as the last stop before heading to the airport at the end of my vacation. We went on a Monday evening, and were sat immediately. Although it was a Monday, it was decently lively which we loved! Our server took our order but seemd very distracted, looking in every other direction except in ours. We got the Chipotle Chicken Taquitos appetizer, a Carne Asada Tampiqueña entree, and a Grilled Carne Asada and Shrimp entree. Overall some items were a miss: the chipotle broth in the appetizer and the rice in the entrees which were plain and lacking flavor. On the other hand some items were a hit: the steaks, shrimp, beans, the fact that food is steaming once you get it, and the quantity of food you get! The only complaint is that they go too hard on food “presentation” and it takes away from the dining experience. I don’t need to scoop my rice out of a tortilla bowl, nor do I need a huge leaf of lettuce in my meal for decoration purposes. Overall I would recommend this place if you’re in the Old Town area, as the atmosphere is unmatched.
