Ike's Place

Ok. So I just inhaled half of the sandwich I got from here. I was STARVING, have zero food in my place, and my electric bike was just stolen so I went on Uber Eats. OMG this place has the BEST sandwiches EVER. I had the Terrell Davis on French bread. Had them add Godfather Sauce. I ordered one sandwich. When I picked up the bag after it was delivered I kid you not it felt like I had ordered like 5 burritos. You know how burritos feel inside of a bag? This felt like that, it didn't feel like a sandwich. Hope that makes sense. Of course it was a sandwich though and when I opened the bag there were plenty of napkins-thank you- and a very neatly wrapped sandwich. It was filled with the PERFECT amount of everything. The lettuce was fresh and crisp, the tomatoes were ripe but not too ripe. THE BREAD....AHHHHH THE BREAD! ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS and toasted just right. I am 51 years old and LOVE a good sandwich! BY FAR THIS IS THE BEST SANDWICH I HAVE EVER HAD!!!! So much so I felt compelled to write this review and I don't think I have ever taken the time to write a review about anything else I have ever eaten. I ate half the sandwich and I am full. Can't wait until my stomach has room for the other half!! DEFINITELY worth the calories and the price. If you are looking for the BEST SANDWICH EVER you HAVE to try this place. I promise you will LOVE it. I sure did!!! Thank you Ike's!!! Oh and I forgot to add that they threw in a caramel apple lollipop too!!! Such a nice treat. You MUST try this place. You won't be sorry. 😁♥️

Coming here for a few years, never disappoints. Tasty sandwiches, and a decent portion for a growing gym guy. I do recommend eating straight away, as they can get a little soggy if left for a few hours, depending on you choice of sandwich of course. Love the little lollies that come with it. Nice touch. Thanks guys

We went a little late in the day so maybe that was the problem. They were super busy (maybe it's always like that) and had run out of 3 of the items we wanted. The food was good. I liked the brash cashier. She made me nervous when I was ordering and it made me feel like I was being accepted into a secret society 😆.

This place probably has the best sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life! We biked there and had no trouble ordering and receiving our food. They do only have outdoor seating, not a big deal for us, but something to keep in mind. I can’t believe I’ve been in SD for over a year and this was my first time here 🤯. Get over to Ike’s ASAP!

I had Ike's for the first time on Sunday and it was so good I had it again Monday! They are sandwiches - sounds basic enough... but they are SO GOOD! The whole family loved it and they tend to be picky. There are so many selections, but I got the James and the Giant Peach and the vegan Mello-Kitty, both made with vegan chicken. YUM! If I didn't tell you it was vegan you wouldn't have wondered. The "Dirty Sauce" (a type of garlicky mayo?) worked as a great condiment and brought everything together. I will definitely go back again - it was just that good!
