Twiggs Bakery & Coffee House - San Diego - Photo album

I stopped here to get a Chai while walking around the area. It's a good sized coffee shop with chairs and tables inside the shop as well as outside. There is a public bathroom. The inside mood felt vintage but updated. The menu is fairly limited but had basic coffee and tea drinks. There were a few
I stopped by quickly for my afternoon coffee and a quick bite. The old charm coffeehouse was moderately filled with people and groups. The mask was highly encouraged, and the owner/ staff was pretty friendly. The coffee was fine, nothing overwhelming. The blueberry muffin was pretty decent too. Alth
Have been coming to this place for 20 years. Long term staff are super friendly. Ownership changed last year and the new owners need better customer service skills! I know they ( like all service industry outlets) are having a hard time filling positions but sad to see some staff with no customer se
Great cakes! Bagels yum. Nice staff, and love the community vibe. Bear claws also rock šŸ‘
This is a 2021 review of Twiggs. Iā€™m really happy to say that my favorite coffee shop is starting to come back. Customers are allowed inside, masks off when seated. They are very good about distancing, all workers are masked and the food is protected and sanitary. Pros: ā€¢ Great selection of coffee
This coffee shop is an established spot in the community.. you can feel the love, see the love, and know you are loved just as you are. There are games, cards, social groups, meeting spots, the most incredible butter biscuits, holy cow wonderful .. The staff here are welcoming... Seriously there is
A perfect coffee shop that knows exactly what it is. A cornerstone in the community. Irreplaceable and the only true way to feel University Heights. Baristas know all the locals and are sweet and kind to all who enter for the first time. Wonderful coffee and an incredible experience! Try the coconut
Amazing local coffee shop. Employees are so friendly and know so many locals by name. You feel like you're in your own home when you come here! Great food even better coffee.
Simple interior with nice wooden features. Drip coffee was a little old/burned tasting, but the day old pastry selection hit the spot. Old school spot with lots of people camping and and getting work done, playing games, chatting. Good vibes.
A lovely little cafe/coffee shop with even lovelier staff! As a visiter to the area i was overwhelmed with ever new shop I entered. The Baristas on staff at the time, Trenton and Angela were so patience, sweet and helpful! I was brave and got the iced pistachio and orange chia latte with oat milk! I
Great little cafe at university hills. Good friendly staff. Amazing coffee. Love their espresso drinks. My favorite is the happy camper on a grumpy winter morning. The happy camper comes in a 10oz cup but is packed with 3 espresso plus chocolate and cream. Very reasonably priced and Amazingly delici

It was extraordinary. a extent to be in the moment at. One more thing sad to see thAt it closed for good after 30 years.
A lovely local cafe. Good coffee, a bit pricey but you're supporting local so it feels better than a starbucks. Lots of little tables, free poetry at the entrance, a lending library of books, and generally warm and cozy vibes. I will be back.
